retrieving pics from the scrapbook

Where  in the game files would I find the pics saved in my sim's scrapbooks and is there a way to pull them out to use them in a story line? I've never done one before, but there are a few memory's my sims have that have great pics associated with them. If anyone can help me out I would be grateful.

The only way I could think of would be to upload them to the Official Site and then save the images from there. Otherwise I don't think they can be found anywhere. (I.e. Upload them then right click and select "Save image as..."

I think you may be able to open the save files in sim3pe. If you have a DDS plugin for photoshop or gimp, you can open them, and then save them as a JPEG
