The guide mentions werewolves, but each of the main supernaturals has a bonus for Alchemy:
  • Fairy - better gardening
  • Werewolf - better gathering
  • Vampire - learns Alchemy faster at night
  • Witch - learns Alchemy faster all the time
A household combining one of the first 2 (ingredients) with one of the latter 2 (alchemist) works really well together.
