Hi all... So I tried playing in CAP and came up with a few things. I thought I'd start a topic for my patterns so you can download them if you want. If there's anything wrong with them please don't hesitate to let me know as I can only learn from your suggestions. I do apologize in advance for the fact that I forgot to make note of the category these first few will be found in but I promise I will update their details once I've found them in the game for myself!

My first pattern is called zebra butterfly found in Misc.

I don't think it works as a wallpaper but I liked how it turned out on the chair and sofa

This next one is called love and kisses found in Fabric

I'm actually not sure where I would use this one but I put it on the wall so you could see it in all its "glory"

Then we have dream (no clue why I called it that lol) found in Tiles and Mosaic

As you can see I went a little colour mad all around the room

Now its my decorative tile 0001 (I'm hoping there will be many more to get rid of at least one of those zeroes) found in Tiles and Mosaic

Strangely enough for a "tile" pattern it looks best on the chair and sofa

Then I have in the brown found in Wood

I like this for the wall OR floor both together is a bit much though lol

My last three use the specular layer in CAP so i apologize if you can't see the shiny bits nicely

purple and green found in Themed

orchid shine found in Themed

And lastly burnt orange

Wow these patterns are cool! I love them all! My favorite though is the Orchid Shine, how did you get it to look like that?

Well I used CAP and started with a base colour, then added a pattern and made it slightly see-through and then using the specular layer (its the top layer in CAP that has the little lightbulb next to it) I added a pattern on each corner and the orchid in the middle... Basically CAP took care of the rest! Thanks for the feedback

Nice job Magpie. I knew you could do it.

But be careful. Making patterns can be addictive. Not that I would know anything about that.

I really liked Dream and Orchid Shine.

Aah thanks Grim! yeah I can see it's addictive... But so rewarding! I want to do a happy dance because I have 4 downloads already

and I hope you give more patterns so I can learn from the master
