How to retrieve serial code from the Sims 3 website

I have lost the case for Showtime (just did a reformat), but thankfully the disc is in my Supernatural case (that's where you put the one from the disc drive when put a new one in of course ). I have registered my game on the Sims 3 site, how do I retrieve my serial code?

I think EA will give it to you if you ask them very nicely. You'll probably need some proof of identity though - and I have no idea how you can prove who you are.

Crisis averted! Phew! My hubby was helping look, and he did a "man-look" in my laptop bag. I decided it was worth rechecking, as I have found many a thing in places that he has already 'looked', and sure enough, there it was!

The scariest part was when I pulled a piece of curled over paper out from the back of the desk and it had a massive red-back spider in it! Eep! I HATE spiders. I've had to squish far to many lately - time to get the house sprayed!!
