Supernatural and the Other Towns?
« on: October 18, 2012, 04:36:15 PM »
Hey everyone, I know in CAS you can create supernatural characters and such and I know Moonlight Falls contains many pre-made supernatural characters but my question is Do the other towns for example bridgeport, or sunset valley etc do they auto generate some of the townies to have supernatural powers or in those towns do you have to start off with a sim that is supernatural and just create loads and loads of babies in order to make the town populated with supernatural characters?

Thanks,
Kimdacutie

Nope, it turns existing townies for you, for better or for worse.

Soon after Supernatural was released, I tested something in Twinbrook. In that time, Julienne Knack and Rosy Whelohff were turned into fairies. The same thing happens in other towns as well.

I played Sunset Valley right after Supernatural came out.   A lot of my favorite townies that had previously turned into vamps were now other occults.   Nancy Landgraab, Christopher Steel, Cyclone Sword, Leighton Sekemoto were all witches.   Hank Goddard, Justine Keaton, Boyd Wainwright, Blair Wainwright and Dustin Langerak are all werewolves.   Emma Hatch, Vita Alto, Simis Bachelor, Jocasta Bachelor, Beau Andrews were all fairies.

It was actually fun to see what various people became.  It's actually a small bit of enjoyment now to go to a town I know really well and see who becomes what since it's so random.

Yes it was!  I'll have to share pictures in my new story if they do it again.  I felt bad for Beau and Jocasta.  They being such substantial sims and they always end up with the tiniest wings.  ;D

I haven't seen any other occults in Bridgeport. I created a witch and other than the regular vampires, the only things that show up are zombies and ghosts at the dance clubs. But, no fairies or werewolves.

I have story progression off but I still get zombies, and I saw one of my townies as a zombie - I'll have to switch him back somehow when I play him I guess.

If you don't want zombies, you must change the settings of the lunar cycle. You can easily cure a zombie with a cure potion or a moodlet manager.
If you don't mind cheating you can just' control click' the zombie moodlet.

Oh thanks. I don't mind watching the zombies in my yard, I just would like to choose whether any of my sims become zombies or not. :)

I played sunset valley and Arlo Bunch became a were-wolf. He looked better in werewolf form though. ;)
Meanwhile Hank Goddard and Mary Keaton both became fairies, and then the Keaton's son was a fairy too!

I had Agnes turn into a werewolf. It looked kind of creepy actually.
