Too difficult to turn other sims to vampires

I believe my vampire sim has thrown more than 30 "Bottled Vampire's Bite" at different sims and used "offer to turn" at some others too, yet the record showed only 3 have turned to vampires.  I waited for over a week but no more sims turned to vampires yet.   Did I do something wrong?  Will someone be kind to help me out?

I could be wrong, but I believe that you have to turn other sims in the traditional manner (i.e. "Offer to turn") in order for it to count.

Try throwing potent friendship potions at them instead, then offer to turn them - that should be just as fast as throwing vampire potions.

Thanks for the help.  I tried both ways you suggested but all in vain.  I started a new game using the same neighbourhood and sims and it worked fine.  I really don't have any idea what was the problem?

It may be be me, but I think there are a lot of glitches in this pack.  I haven't had a lot of them happen at the same time or quite a bit in the same game, but enough in my experimental games that I figure, and this is a guess, not tested, that there will be two or three over course of time.  Depending on how bad they are, how much they affect your game, what you are playing for, such as for me a personal legacy, it can be oh well, that is life, or enough to end the game and start over again. 

Don't know if that helps, any, but in real life we always have a monkey wreinch tossed in occassionally, so I figured in sims it's going to happen.  Sometimes I want to know if it just my game doing this or is it a problem everyone faces.
