You asked for honest feedback so that is what I will give you. I know that some of you know who I am and how I got involved with the forum but the most important piece of information about me is that I haven't personally played a Sims game since the original was released. I have watched Audren play and read the Forum story offerings over Audren's shoulder. Having given you the background info on me, I will tell you how it relates to your request for feedback on Mission Highly Unlikely.

Your writing has me emotionally invested in each and every one of these characters even though I have never encountered any of them on my own. *All* of your characters are new to me; I didn't know their backstory or the story of Sunset Valley before reading this story. What I am trying to say, and failing miserably at, is that YOU brought all of this to life for me and made everything seem so real. I honestly felt like I was reading a book from one of my favorite Authors. (Especially since I am a fan of the Supernatural/Adventure/Romance genres) Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give you is that I find myself wanting to dive headfirst back into the world of The Sims and create my own characters on the off-chance that I might get lucky enough to interact with one of yours.

Thank You for keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout this story and I can't wait to see what the next adventure will be. I definitely love this "personal-mission" format. <3

Well done for completing such an emotional story, and well done to Nameless for vanquishing the Evil in Sundown Town, Schipperke. I cried more than a few times while reading this. And it is true - as flawed as we may be, we can all make a difference. If someone helps you, pay it forward, because you never know when it might come back around.

This story was so great that I had to read it all at once, but school and various other commitments have kept me from commenting as soon as I might have. I loved it! I have to admit that I was Team Holly, but I do love Mary as well, so I'm not disappointed. Yay for happy endings for everyone! (Everyone on the side of good, at least.)

Thanks, Magpie.  I have a character in training (getting his skills and LTW points up), getting ready for a move to Monte Vista as soon as it's available. 

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.  I have been missing this story - it just kind of swept me along - but there are a lot of real-life things needing time too (how long is it since the house was cleaned?  who knows!). 

I really enjoyed writing this story, and it gives me a lot of pleasure to feel that it was also fun to read.

I leave for a trip, and I come back to a completed Mission Highly Unlikely! That brought a smile to my face.

I admit that I thought Nameless was Leo, mainly because of the purple hair that they share. I imagine that it's saved in your color bin, and it looked good, so why not use it? I do think it's fitting that he truly is Nameless. It shows how far he's gone, from the bitter nectar-loving man he used to be to our beloved, if flawed, hero.

I must say that this is one of the best stories I've read in a good bit of time, forum or otherwise. I must thank you for sharing this amazing tale of Good versus Evil.

I've been reading this over again, Schipperke, and I wanted to say that I can't think of another writer who can tell a story and make me invest emotionally in a character without ever showing his face.
