There is more to Nameless than meets the eye...and more, I dare say, to Mary. If that is indeed her real name. I am most certainly intrigued...

Mary Fairy has backbone!

Same here, Sadie.  ;)

I'm enjoying Nameless's interactions with Mary! She's perfect for Sundown Town, I don't think anything Evil could get to her.

One Small Boy

Diary Entry

Mary Fairy and I settled into an uneasy truce.  I ignored her, and she stayed out of my way.  I had no idea what she was doing in her basement lair.  Amusing herself in the manner of her kind, I vaguely supposed.  As long as I didn't have to deal with her, I didn't care how she spent her time.  But I had to admit she was an excellent cook.  The meals always appeared when I was ready to eat.  Not that we ate together, of course.  But somehow she always knew when I was finished and would instantly appear to clear away the dishes.

One day I was at Aleister's shop when who should come bouncing in but the other Good Sim I had been hoping to meet.  I say "bouncing" because he was a young lad, irrepressible despite his difficult life as the younger brother of one of the Evil ones.

Miraj was a fine young fellow.  It gave me great pleasure to be able to present him with my first self-cleansing shower.  The look of pure delight on his little face made all the work worthwhile.

Something about Miraj reminded me of my lost Ashynna.  My heart ached as I thought of her, and I wondered where she and her mother were.  For the first time I was glad my precious daughter was not with me.  How could such purity and innocence survive in the evil of Sundown Town?  I wanted to snatch Miraj and take him far away from this place, to keep him safe.

As I left the shop and strolled home, I couldn't stop thinking about little Miraj.  Thoughts of Miraj and Ashynna swirled together in my mind.  What if it had been Ashynna, trapped in this evil town, her only hope resting in a nameless stranger?  A stranger, I uncomfortably acknowledged, who was too wrapped up in self-pity to care about others.

Meeting Holly and young Miraj had really brought home to me how important my mission was.  Good Sims like them, innocent victims like the poor Freaks - they were the reason for me being here in Sundown Town.  They were the human face of the tragedy here.  Previously the mission had seemed rather abstract to me - Good versus Evil, with the deck firmly stacked in favour of Evil.  Too much for me to even contemplate.  But these Sims weren't abstractions.  They were real Sims, and they were suffering.  They were counting on me to help them.  I resolved not to let them down.  If I could cleanse the evil from more showers, more Good Sims could return to Sundown Town.  I set to work with a vengeance.

When Mr Payne returned for my next progress report, I would have a lot to show him.  He would see that I had accomplished all this on my own, and that I had no need of assistance.  Mary Fairy could go back to wherever she had come from.  Good Sims could start returning to Sundown Town.

But when Mr Payne next came, he brought sobering news.

Oh, I'm at the edge of my seat to find out what Mr Payne has to tell.

How sweet of nameless to think of his daughter.

Always the young one that brings in the revelation, I should have suspected Miraj Alvi, however.

To those who believe they know Nameless' real identity:  would you be willing to let me use this in an episode?  If I use it, it wouldn't be until the end of the story.  If you think you know who Nameless is and would be willing to let me use it, send me a PM clearly marked "Nameless' Identity" or something like that, with your guess.  I'll save the messages and won't read them until I'm ready to use them.  Would you like to do this?

So, when you use it it would be kind of a guessing game? Like, who guessed it right? I'm a bit confused. :-\
