This is absolutely hilarious. I have finally gotten around to reading and boy. I am not sure I want to know if the next generations will be uglier or not. Either way, I will be reading.

I've been waiting for this story to update all my LIFE.

I wanted to laugh out loud, but while I was reading I was talking to my boyfriend...

Most awesome family.  I adore them, every one.

At least he's not asking for alcohol like most of them.  ;D

Ich mectie ein bier?

Hey, do not lump every German together! ;)

"Ich möchte ein Bier.(I want to have a beer.)" Is only a typical sentence used by Bavarians, the federate state in the south where Germany's most famous soccer team come from. Anybody else here in good old Germany is living absolutely abstinent...most of the time. ;D

I never said I could spell German, and my mother taught myself and my brother that sentence when we were younger. She was born in Gemany and moved to Canada when she was rather young, and learned German from speaking it at home with her parents, brothers, and aunt. (What section of Germany is Bad Tolz in?)

I've been busy lately with Rosa's Bachelorette story, so I don't have anything ready yet, but the next part should be up next week.

Also, I'm going to step in and ask everyone to please be mindful of their comments about Germany/Germans. Like Dextra said, sarcasm/irony doesn't translate well at all on the internet, and I really don't want to get in trouble for having a thread that could be read as being derogatory to Germans. Typing in German and discussing how Rammstein speaks it is fine, but please stay away from bringing up stereotypes that can be considered hurtful.

And while I'm here, I'm going to answer Maisie's earlier comment, and say that I do indeed know about the German Metal band Rammstein, and it's where I got the name (which is technically spelled "Rammestein" in my game, because he was born at 3 AM, and I was too lazy to move the 3 feet to grab my laptop to doublecheck the spelling, but we all know what it was supposed to be), and thus, the idea to make him speak German. And why does this Dynasty make you think of Amerika?

Just to be on the safe side, if my comment was in any way offensive, it wasn't intended to be. I really do speak a little. <--- Just in case.

Just to be on the safe side, if my comment was in any way offensive, it wasn't intended to be. Both of my parents are of German descent and speak fluent German, and I really do speak a little. <--- Just in case.
Like I said, I have no problem with you guys speaking German. I figure as long as we're sitting around cracking jokes and destroying all that is good in the Sim world, we might as well make this an educational experience. And it made for a nice surprise. My issue comes from that I found the "At least he's not asking for beer" comment to be a little unnerving (especially since the kid is like, two), and just wanted to throw that out there with a nod to keep it appropriate before I got in trouble with the Mods.

I'm sorry - I was just joking around with the fact that some Germans like beer, and if I remember correctly (I have no clue) there is no drinking age limit. Plus at one point my uncle who is as German as my mother is, fed his son a small amount of beer. Nowhere near enough to even get him tipsy, and i'm sure most parents wouldn't do so, I was just running off what I have seen and experienced with a partial German family. Plus, after that he loved it and kept asking for it so they would feed him root beer instead and pretend it was real beer.

Wow, you are just hilarious!  A good laugh is something all of us need from time to time, and you can certainly deliver!

On a wild impulse I decided to skim your story, skimmed through to page two, then went back and read every word.  And it was two scoop fulls of funny in every update, I love it!

Yay for Arlo, if only he could have the family we forum readers all so deserve to have inflicted, I mean bestowed upon us.

I can't wait to see these kids age up, and I will be reading every update from now on, great writing! *Kneels in prayerful manner* Oh watchers above if there is any justice in the universe the bugs will pass by this Dynasty, probably scared away by Drizzelda and the Drizzarloboos(Hey that's a band name if ever I heard one, and there's four of them, I feel a tingle of destiny *spooky shivers*).  For truly this will be a Dynasty HOF picture, eight generations of Hideous family that I want, no I need, to see!

Don't feel bad, Rosa! Working on stuff for your Bachelorette story is some of the best fun I've had! Seriously, everyone, go check it out.

Edit: I'd like to thank Juxtaposition for the prayer (and Rosa for chiming in). My game had glitchy textures for a while, but they've seemed to have straightened out.  ;) Now if only the jaw sliders weren't broken . . .
