Did you have a witch casting a restoration spell on the lot? That spell seems to cause the food in the fridge to spoil while, oddly, making food on counters ok to eat. /shakes head/
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

Did you try replacing the refrigerator?

Is it the cheapest fridge?  I know they let food spoil faster, but don't remember how long it takes.  I use the motherlode cheat to buy the better appliances, beds and such.

It also depends on the food itself. I heard Baked Angel Cake easily spoiles in a day with some of the cheaper refrigerators.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

I know that in all likelihood you did this, but have you tried a diferent fridge, one that is higher priced?  I asked this because I have (quite often) overlooked the obvious thing that is right in front of me.

The experts here can be of more help than I am, hope you find the answer.
