A challenge based on Twallan's Traveler mod?

Not sure where to put this thread, sorry if it's in the wrong place!

I use Twallan's Traveler mod, that's the one where you can travel to any other town as if you were traveling to the WA towns.  Furthermore it allows you to move your active sims permanently to that town.

This and the townie challenge kind of got me thinking about some kind of dynasty where every generation you have to move to a different town.  The only problem I foresee is that while away from a town, the sims in the old towns age up and die, and then they are replaced by new ones.  So perhaps by the third generation, if one would travel back to the original town, there would be no recognizable sims there.  (And seeing who is the descendant of whom is half the fun of playing multiple generations, I know!)

Any thoughts on this?

I've been thinking about this. I haven't posted a project yet (partly because I have several projects on the board), but you can check out the guidelines in my blog. Adding the Traveller mod would make sense, although I'm hoping we'll get something similar with University.

Sidenote: what's this University stuff you're talking about?

There is a rumor about the expansion being University but it is forum policy to not talk about expansion rumors until there has been an official announcement.  Not to mention it's off topic for this thread.

Your idea sounds a lot like judewright's Random Town jump project, whay don't you check it out for inspiration/ideas?
