I become too attached to my sims, that is why in some challenges, I am too easy on them, when I should really push them a little more.  I am not that much into winning, I like to play, but, when I saw that you could detonate a bed with someone in it, really was not expecting that.  I guess as long as they only get singed, then that is ok, I think, lol.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

I don't see many people running around detonating other people while they are asleep... ;)

Yeah, and after the first time I get electrocuted, I tend to go to the hospital, not the shower...  ;D

Whereas detonation is non-lethal but really funny and can start fires... And fires are lethal... If your closeby and cowardous

Cowardliness isn't a necessary trait. I had my wifey sim drilling with the miner at night, and when the neighbors began pouring in the lot to complain, hubby went to detonate their cars (we need an evil smiley here  ;D)  I literally rofl because this was the first time I'd done this detonation on visiting cars, and while I was rofl'ing and yelling at my kids to "look at this!!", I didn't notice my hubby sim began trying to put out a fire the car started, catching afire himself. I nearly lost him before I realized what was happening, but thankfully got him to jump in the pool in the nick of time.  I wish I had made a video of this, it was extremely hilarious with the fainters and fighters! But I was laughing to hard to think of vidding, lol.  I couldn't set up such a re-enactment if I tried. What made this even more funny was the fact that this was the first night my sims moved into the uptown part of Twinbrooks, from the swamps. They had a lot of friends before this night. Now they have more enemies. But strange, blowing up their cars didn't peeve them off, it was the drilling! Rofl. Silly sims! So much fun.  ;D

That's a great story, thanks for the laughs!

Oh, wow! Haha, that is quite the entertaining story, I wish I could have pulled something like that off... actually I might have to try, sounds like a great amount of fun, mainly the blowing up cars part, heh, now Sims can really re-create action movies, running away slow motion from blowing up cars. ;)

Well coward trait is dangerous during fires, they pass out and fire keeps on spreading, they'll die

Don't worry...
I did that too.  ::)

Me too! :D

Also you can not detonate any crib with a baby in it.  So beds with adults are ok, but babies are not.

Quick and Easy Way to Get Tons of Scrap
« Reply #22 on: July 08, 2010, 10:28:45 PM »
Once your sim can detonate things, go to the military base and detonate the giant plane statue. It gave me 1500 scrap, instantly fullfilling the scrap collector challenge. A pop-up will tell you you aren't supposed to blow up things in town and if you continue you will get fined, but just don't do it again and you get 1500 scrap for 20 simoleans.

This didn't work out for me. I detonated it in Twinbrook, the scrap briefly appeared on the lawn, I received the warning pop-up, then the scrap vanished too quickly to move toward it in time to collect, no scrap increase in inventory, no skill challenge fulfilled.

I just tried it and it worked great.  I sent my Sim to the Military Base, she detonated the plane, got the warning, then she picked up 3 piles of scrap of 500 each.  She fulfilled the challenge for 1,000 pieces of scrap.  I wonder if there's a problem with it being Twinbrook.  Mine was in Sunset Valley.

Well, I did it in Twinbrook when my sim did it, but I think the pop up might have come even after I picked up the scrap. So maybe the scrap disappears with the pop up or something?
