This is the watcher, noting that I have a ton of screenshots from before Seasons was released. I hope you can bear this discrepancy.

"Don't worry, I still love her even though she's halfway to old and saggy."

I'll try to fix that one.

"How can this be?"

That's a good question, Waylon.

"How can she be my aunt, born 40 years after me, an adult, and better than me in chess?"

"Why am I at home for a chess game?"

It's the perfect setting for your last opponent, the most logically inclined of them all.

Our own Pappy Rust.

"It's nice to see her follow in my footsteps."

And now, all you have to do is hunt a little and become a Metal Collector.

And befriend local fairy Nicholas Steed.

Because after that, we're all set.

Young again.

Branch, I love you.

"Why, watcher?"

I'm just so happy to see a Rust spouse who properly wears his carefully-picked-out Master Suite Stuff PJs.

I also built these two a living room upstairs. Since Pappy hates television, they get it far away from him.

"Hey Branch, did you notice my new jeans?"

"Yeah, I liked your old ones better."

"I'm pregnant."

"Really?"

"Oh, looks like you are."

"You mean that my baby isn't just getting fat and taking after that plump fairy husband of hers?"

Um, yeah Cadmium, she's pregnant. You're going to really be a grandmother.

"A hot grandmother?"

Yes indeed. I'm so glad that Cricket's pregnancy is going so well-

"You cheating scum! I can't believe that you still love that Dana!"

Dang it, Branch.

...is it just me, or is your game not rendering Branch's wings properly?
Ouch; poor Cricket, was Dana a romantic interest or anything?

Sorry, but I cracked up when Branch yelled at Cricket. I think it's the way you wrote it. Congrats to Cricket though!

Fairy wings are strange for me in-game. It takes a bit for them to load.

Apparently he was, in spite of Cricket and Dana not interacting ever since he died.

Don't worry, I found it amusing too. Very frustrating, but still amusing.

Poor Nicholas and those teeny tiny emasculating little wings ;D

I'm so excited for Crick's nooboo, come on Branch genes!

That cheating accusation was funny, but horrible.  I guess since ghosts can still be part of the household if you choose, it doesn't automatically break the relationship when they die.  Can Crick break up with her ghost ex?

Spoilers below in tiny text!

Dana haunted the lot pretty quickly after Branch got angry at Cricket, and they were still listed as boyfriend and girlfriend. I had Cricket break up with him and he wasn't too happy. Branch and Cricket's nooboo is the cutest little thing ever with a wonderful mixture of genes (and he's another red-headed rainboo), but he's a werewolf.

It seems that all the sims turned into fairies get the tiny little wings. Chauncey Grimm and Joe MacDuff have the same, unfortunate situation. Poor guys. D:

"Branchie, Dana is dead. I broke up with him before we started dating. You can stop pouting angrily, honey. We have to focus on the nooboo now."

"I've heard rumors that you two still have something going on. I'm done!"

"Watcher, help me."

Okay, I never saw this coming. I'm getting readings that Dana still considers you his love in the afterlife. That meddling ghost needs to be confronted.

That's convenient. Hey Dana.

"I'm so happy to see my lilac-love again. Thanks for keeping me here."

About that, Dana...

"Dana, I always thought that you were a great guy, but I've moved on. I'm married to Branch now and as you can see, we're having a nooboo. Wanna just be friends?"

"I can't believe it! I thought we had something special!"

"We did, but then you died because you were an aging-glitched NPC."

"I hate you, Rusts!"

Eh, he's a ghost. He won't bother you too much.

I think we have bigger things to think about other than Dana now. Nooboo incoming!

Say hello to Kermit Rust, everybody!

"He's purple like me! I bet he's going to be a lovely fairy."

You mean werewolf. Kermit isn't the heir, move along. I wonder where Branch is in all of this.

"I love you melons, I really do. You were my pride and joy. And Dayvid's, even though he couldn't eat them."

Dwelling on the past a bit, huh?

"I miss this place."

You realize that your wife just had a son, right?

"That cheating scum?"

Look, we need to talk. Cricket's been through a lot with losing Dana, and I think that Dana has as well. He couldn't let her go and she had no control over it. Why can't you just forgive her?

"I've been through a lot too, you know."

Yes, I know that Dayvid bit the dust before his time and that Deedee broke your heart, but that doesn't mean that you should stay angry at Cricket about this. Why not try and talk it out with her?

"So you're done with that Dana, right?"

"I made sure I was. I never thought that he'd be so clingy. Forgive?"

"I forgive you, I guess."

We'll make sure about that one. No more betrayal moodlets for Branch.

"So what do you say, Branch? Let's stick together?"

"I think we should. We have a kid to raise, after all."

---

It just seems to be Branch's wings that render oddly in game. In my Twinbrook file, I've encountered a few fairies and their wings are just fine, as well as those of other fairies in this one. Poor Branch.

Lol, this was funny.  I'm glad Branch finally got over it though, I really felt bad for poor Crick getting blamed for something she had no control over.

Awww little Kermie why did you have to be so wolfy?

He got over it, but their relationship took a severe hit. They're still married but their relationship is close to neutral. They need to repair that so I can get an heir.

I saved Kermit to my bin and aged him up in CAS. I really wish he was the heir; he'll be the envy of Moonlight Falls and I must let him reproduce. Now I need to actually play this file (I love my Rusts, but they're no Graves and they're not in Twinbrook).

Fortunately since he is male he may reproduce as much as he you desire.  ;D

Your writing is just too funny, Trip. I have never laughed so hard at cheating and babies and ghosts. How do you have the power to turn drama to comedy?

Don't worry, any spare Rust male is going to populate the town. It's not being sleazy; it's a charitable donation of incredible Rust/Wolff/Timbley genes!

This is the dynasty where I can really let loose and throw every line that might sound humorous at the wall and see what sticks. The Graves have to remain somewhat serious, and my totally-not-abandoned-in-spite-of-going-months-without-updates-or-me-playing-the-file decadynasty is meant to be funny but has to stick with a specifically dry sense of humor. Since the latter is, you know, rather abandoned, I pour everything funny into the Rusts and I'm glad to see that it works.

You mean the decadynasty that you have no link in your signature for?

Exactly. Because I'm personally ashamed of my writing style there and need to refine it. Plus, I can't bring myself to play my decadynasty because it takes place in Twinbrook and there is a slight overlap in characters used between that and my immortal dynasty and it just feels weird to see them twice, darn it.

All you need to do is get one somewhere like the second or third generation grown up and then they won't lap anymore.  :P
You could also start another decadynasty in another town.

I think I might start one in Appaloosa Plains just to get my name in HoF. Maybe. The Graves and the Rusts eat up a lot of my simming time and I love it that way.
