Pet bowls and Toy Crates

When you place pet bowls and toy crates in CAW the toy crates are emtpy, and bowls are usually empty anyway. When you export them from CAW and run in-game, do the toy crates and bowls on community lots automatically fill? Or is there something I have to do to make the toy crate have toys in it?

In Green Dolphin Island, they filled automatically, so I think it should be fine - that was before the last patch, though.
