I haven't played much with it, but you can add dining chairs, indoor plants and I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think paintings also.

Yes, dining chairs. For some odd reason I've typed stairs, but I doubt you can make them gold. Would be awesome if you could though.
I've left out paintings for now, since you're not sure.

Amazing, amazing. You're a great help.
Do you maybe know that the sculptures are only limited to what you can buy in Buy Mode or are the one who sims can sculpt themselves also affected by Golden Touch?

Lol Leto! The sculptors from ambitions can be turn into gold. My sim wasn't very rich, he had so I bought a sculptor of 10.000 and sold it for 20,000!

Amazing! What this means is that you could craft a masterpiece and than turn in into gold!

Somewhat offtopic, but how does Midas Touch work? Does the Sim drink it then go about touching stuff, or do they throw it onto an object, which turns to gold?

The Sim drinks it, the elixir gives them a six hour moodlet called ''Golden Touch'', for six hours they can touch stuff and it turns into gold. It's a special interaction, so just touching them doesn't do anything. You have to click ''Midas Touch'' for it to work, sadly it doesn't work for everything.

I thought about turning my ice sim sculptures into gold, but the value dropped significantly. There went my trick for getting a killer dynasty score.

Sims...Sims can be turned into gold.... and it's terrifying and disturbing....Just kidding! It's awesome!  They'll just stay like that for six hours!
