Chapter Sixty-One: Arrival in Sunset Valley

Mr Payne: It's all right, Hazel--you can come out.



Hazel: Well, that was a unique experience.





Hazel: So, this is Sunset Valley! Hmmm . . . the grass is a different colour. I hope I get the chance to take some soil samples.
Mr Payne (chuckling): Come on. I'll show you the house.







Hazel (breathless): Wow. It's perfect! So quaint!
Mr Payne: Let's go see the inside.



Hazel: Oh, hey! My wings are a different colour! And shape, now that I notice.
Mr Payne: Yes, I took your favourite colour into account and thought you would prefer your wings this way.
Hazel: Excellent!



Hazel: Oh, the inside is even more adorable than the outside!



Hazel: Everything is perfect! The house--the wings--everything! Mr Payne, how can I ever thank you?



Mr Payne: There is no need to thank me, Hazel, although I appreciate the impulse. This is my joy in life. And really, it is you who are doing me the greater favour. Someday you may get the chance to repay me for this.



Mr Payne: Now, I'll be keeping contact. Let me know if you need anything at all and I'll see that it gets to you.
Hazel: Again, thank you.



Mr Payne: All right, Hazel, I'm going to go now, but I'll be around. Oh! There is one more thing.



Hazel: There's more?
Mr Payne: These items will help you with your cover and disguise.

Since this is kind of a time warp situation, nothing else will happen in this story while Hazel is at OSS, so you'll have to get your Callahan fix there. I will make every effort to keep current on The Bachelorette in the meantime, so you don't suffer Rosa withdrawals

Okay... So I've just finished Chapter 41 (yeah I read slow lol) but I'm posting now because a) I just had to say the story is awesome so far and, b) who is Pippin? He/she/whatever has been referred to quite a few times and my ignorance is starting to bug me lol
