Zack definitely got a few new moodlets!

BTW...did we hear chimes? I thought I did, but couldn't be certain. Zack was making too much noise!

Omg she just needed more light before they could proceed?  Bahaha!!  Zack crying "the man way" was also really funny!

Marjorie looked absolutely beautiful for her wedding, that hair style really suits her...of course so did her 'something blue'!  ;)  Lucky Zack finally gets the fairy good stuff!

I don't know why I never realized before that Marjorie is almost the same color as Lilith, I love her even more now!  I'm soooo excited to finally see your vampboos, (hopefully vainboos)!  Here let me rub some of my heir luck off on you *rub rub rub*  ;D

Thank you thank you. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spoil the solemn moment with silly humour, but then I decided, always yes. And as far as the other bit, that was completely intentional. I wanted to fool as many of you as possible! Yay.

Thank you again, I really think that I was able to bring out the best in her. With Marjorie, that is when I had her in CAS, I was trying to create a face with character, rather than one I just thought would be drop-dead gorgeous. I think she came pretty close in her wedding outfits though. And Zack was very glad to end his long wait. ;)

Yes, now that you mention it, they are similar shades! Marjorie is from the rainbow slider though, not green. Yes, I have kept you all waiting a long time for the heir. That is true to the story though because Marjorie dragged. Which is why I started with a fairy, gives them more time to do everything. It does take forever though :)

Zack definitely got a few new moodlets!

BTW...did we hear chimes? I thought I did, but couldn't be certain. Zack was making too much noise!
 ;)

Oh, he did indeed!
Nope, sorry, no chimes yet. You will have to wait longer for the nooboos. At this point Marjorie has not finished her requirements and is thus still ineligible to produce an heir.

Chapter Eighteen: Annoying the Paparazzi

Zack: Yes, Silverbella, we are hoping for vainboos as well. Although we will love any cute little nooboo we happen to get!
Um, Zack, you know that was just WooHoo, right, not Try for Baby? You're going to have to wait until your lovely bride finishes her requirements until you can have a nooboo.
Z: No nooboo? *sniff* *walks away grumbling about dynasties and their requirements*
Marjorie: Geez, you would think he was Family-Oriented or something.

Zack is still helping in the garden, but only at night so he doesn't burn his delicate skin.

Z: Look, my elm blossom planted Plasma Fruit for me!
M: Nothing is too good for my cherry pie!

Ugh, newlyweds. Cherry pie? Really? At least elm blossom makes sense!

At about this time I realised that Marjorie had the wrong last name. And so did Zack. Ah! Zack is the one who proposed, so they got his last name. I thought it was determined by who does the "Get Married" interaction on the arch, but I can now tell you that is not the case. Well I'm not standing for it! This is The Callahan Life States Dynasty, not the Durwood Life States Dynasty! Did Carina Dreamweaver change her name to Steel? No she did not!

So I send them to Commonwealth Court to change their names.
Marjorie emerges, a Callahan once again.

Uh oh. It seems our Commitment Issues Marjorie is having second thoughts. It's a little late for that, Marjorie!

Zack, don't ask the paparazzi for money! They don't have any, or they wouldn't be in such a humiliating job!
Z: A few simoleons is all I ask.

The paparazza invited herself in and watched Marjorie Fairy Repair the sink.

She introduces herself. Since the wedding, Marjorie walking around in her Sleepwear has been a lot more embarrassing. For me. On the other hand, she is in her own home.

M: Hey! Look up there!
Paparazza: What? Where?

M: Ha haaa!

Ahh, I see what you did there. Way to turn the tables, Marjorie.

Well, now we know why Marjorie let her in.

Marjorie goes back to repairing the sink. The paparazza sticks around, complaining about the broken sink. Then why are you still here, lady? Just leave already!

Since that didn't work, Marjorie tries another Trick she has up her nonexistent sleeve.

And another. It seems she's finally thinking about going home.

Hey everyone, I'm going to keep posting here, don't worry, but my time will now also be divided with the Mole Interactive Story: Season Two. Check out Marielle Neige there! Also, we still need five people to participate in that so check it out!

Hehe I loved the beginning of this update...I suppose I should have known that call would be recorded ;D

And I do not feel any sympathy for that paparazzi, they totally deserve it.  Well done Marjorie.

The best part about zombies and/or paparazzi and/or zombie-paparazzi? Using them to either a) play tricks on b) cast spells on c) supermax alchemy! Good times, good times . . .
I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

Ohhh, yes. Always. Heheheheh.

I can't decide if she had malicious intent, or if she actually believes people should go about in their sleepwear! She did enjoy herself though :) She has a thing against female paparazzi ever since Alice.

Oh absolutely.

Apologies everyone. I don't even have the Mole as an excuse for no update. My screenshots are buried somewhere deep in the belly of my computer and I have to smoke them out before I can update.  :-[ I'm going to try to make shorter updates from now on (chronologically) Or is it longer? Anyway, I don't want to keep dragging out the story. Although a lot of blame goes to Marjorie for taking forever on her requirements.

Yeah, she's no Israel Spain. Lol

Intermission: Asking the Readers

Okay, so I have a difficult decision to make and after thinking about it I have decided to bring it to my lovely readers.

I am playing well ahead of the story and am exactly one generation further than you see here. I am having a lot of problems with my game--Error 12s, crashes, etc. I got the Crash Log Analyser that Rica recommended and it seems the crashes are caused by a lack of memory (which is what I would have guessed.) I feel this is my fault for dilly-dallying so much on the requirements--normally I wouldn't be 30+ weeks in and only on second generation. It's becoming very frustrating to play--I've played the same thing over and over and it never saves.

So I feel I have two choices. I can either wait it out, try to clear up more memory, and hopefully get the game back on track. I am hoping to get my own laptop soon (no more sharing the computer with my husband!) and that should solve my memory problems. Otherwise I can start over again and not take so long so that my game gets glitchy early. Although you don't know them yet, I am really attached to Marjorie and Zack's kids and I would hate to let them go :( And I promised you all I would keep this story going.

So, I don't promise to abide by what you say, but I would like to know what you think. What should I do?

If you are getting a new laptop then I say to continue. I'm really enjoying this and would hate to see Marjorie go! If you don't get a new laptop, then maybe restart with the Generation 2 heir.

I think you should keep going with Marjorie and Zack. As well as adding some updates here and there until you run out. Other than that I think you should order a laptop soon haha. Besides, it just wouldn't be the same if you didn't stick it out with the Callahans.

I'm with Gogo, if you're getting another laptop then you should deffinately try to keep the dynasty. Also, is there anything you can do to reduce the errors? Delete memories (disable new ones with the new patch options) and so on?

My tip for clearing up more memory:
1. Keep all your save games on an external disc
2. Don't run any programs at the same time.
3. Monitor how much memory the game uses, with the task manager.

Of course I agree with everyone else, losing Marjorie and Zack would be horrible :(

But regardless of what you've promised us, you should absolutely do whatever would make you happiest.

Well, I'm glad you love Marjorie and Zack as I do :)

I really do want to continue with them. I am just so frustrated being stuck and not able to move forward! The laptop is on hold until we are sure we can afford it. "Mr Rosa," as Silverbella called him, is almost as frustrated as I am with not having it yet. It may be quite some time.
1. On the other hand, I do have in my possession (somewhere) an external hard drive, so if I can find that, we're in business. Maybe.
2. I never run anything else while I'm playing Sims.
3. I have not tried monitoring the memory, I should try that. Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your continuing support! I will let you know when I make a for-sure decision. In the meantime, you are agreed I should post updates when I find the screenshots? I would hate to get you even more attached if I should be forced not to continue. Of course, that would give you the same frame of reference as me.

You know, I'm really concerned for where this is going. If I am already going through these problems in the second generation, aren't I just going to have even more problems later on? Of course, I don't know if starting over will even fix that. I do plan on moving a lot faster though. That might help. I am so torn! If I could count on getting a laptop soon, I might wait for that, but I really have no idea when that will become reality. Maybe I should just try starting over and see what happens.

But if the problem's not enough space on your computer, you will eventually hit the same problems over again.  :-\
Even if you do try a restart, will you at least show your last updates?
