First, there is no pregnancy. If it's successful, in a couple sim hours a person will pop out of the time machine whose parents are the 2 people who tried for baby. If you tried in the future, it will be an elder, if you tried in the past it will either be a child, teen or YA. I prefer this to the "old-fashioned" way because there is no sickness, no maternity leave, and no weird cravings. Spaghetti and Ice Cream?? Together? Yuck! I have no luck fulfilling them so I always cancel anyways!  ;D

You would think that a child conceived in the past would be an elder.

You mean: 'It sounds paradoxal.' ;)

Well, I think it can be now officialy be taken  that the huge benefit of a Masterly made Time machine is that it provides my sim with stuff 9 out of 10 travels. He almost always get collectibles, if it are books, money, childs or clothes, everything you can collect, almost everything, can be taken from 'outa time.'
I'm glad I can now note this because I was really hoping for that this is the benefit of a Masterly Time machine. 'Great scot!'

Woah nobody has posted in this topic for awhile! Well anyway I was playing as Judy Bunch and I decided to throw her in the time machine. Then I got the message that she saw someone that looked familiar and told them to stop fighting. Well sudennly a little girl showed up outside of the Time Machine that looked JUST like Judy!

I aged her up to Adult and dressed her like Judy and she looked exactly like her.

I guess they just take the same sim who was using the Time Machine and make them a child. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I just wanted to mention it.  :)

Yes, that's actually Judy's offspring (!).
Nice how it's exactly like her.

Yep, sometimes your Sim will come out with a complete copy of herself - Judy Bunch is just an example here.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

What can I say. Strange things happen when you mess with time.

Yep, exactly. :)

EDIT: Leto, I think you meant "mess" instead of "mesh".

Actually, I think Leto may have messed with time, and Time retaliated by altering his post to say "mesh" instead of "mess". ;D

Who much does the time machine cost at the consignment store? After you buy it can you travel in time just once or multiple times? Are the collectibles that you bring back worth anything and able to be sold? If so, an unorthodox way to making money is buy a time machine, travel through time a bunch, and sell the collectibles. That would be a fun way to make money.
