Sophie having the technophobe trait really helped Cashew with the handiness challanges. That was the main reason he married her and the fact she was really pretty.

No technophobes in the house? That's your punishment for not grabbing Pappy. He makes it his life's goal to break all the electronics in the Rust abode.

Hehe, as if no Pappy isn't already horrible punishment enough!! ;D

I'm guessing I'm far too late, but in case I'm not (or you're hit by insanity and want to do this again) -

For the diabolical detonator challenge, I found it remarkably quick to blow up many things at once - I'd tried the chair method, but that was slow. Counters aren't explodable, apparently. However...dishwashers chain together into a single surface AND are explodable.

My inventor started many a lot-fire by blowing up 16 dishwashers in a row. Also, if you do that outdoors while it's raining, that makes it even better.

Oh how I wish I knew this awesome dishwasher information before!  I actually spent quite a while googling to try to determine which objects made the best explosions, but didn't really find much.

I'll definitely remember that for my next inventor though, thanks Shirin!

My favorite way to get the demolitions is to make 250 smashers (which you need to do, anyway, for the widget challenge). I place them in the junkyard filling all available spaces. The demolition chains and you get the challenges done fast. With a harvester you can collect all the scrap pretty quickly, too.

I'm just happy when it actually goes off as planned, it always makes me nervous when the detonator fails and Sawyer gets blown up!

That's a good idea too, I never thought of placing things in the junkyard to make bigger explosions.  And I do have tons of extra widgets that I should have just blown up too.  Thanks lvrugger!

Oh finally a new chapter! And an explosive one, my favourite, lol! Thanks for the honorary mention ;) I only had so much fun de-car-ing SV that I simply had to introduce you to the possibilities... Glad you like the show!

Thank you so much Bubbles! :)  Yes it's all too obvious that he loves explosions and destruction huh?  I should probably be worried... ;D

Don't worry Bella, it's normal for boys to blow stuff up! And race anything with an engine. And... You get the picture. We'll be fine ;)

All of the slave-driving payed off...we've created life!!  And judging by his rather...unstable expression, it looks as though Sawyer has a severe case of cabin fever from being cooped up all winter.

Luckily he finished creating his simbot just as the spring sunshine melted away the last of the winter snow .  The birds were singing and the bees were buzzing around freshly budded flowers, and as Ruby saw all of this she knew it was time for the final part of her plan.

First she called Alexa to ask if she'd like to take advantage of the beautiful day at the park, to which Alexa delightedly agreed.  Ruby then took a moment to calm her excitement and compose her expression into one of concern before she went to find Sawyer.  He was resistant at first, but after telling him how sick with worry she was about the stress he'd been under due to working so hard all winter (you know, total grandma guilt trip), he finally acquiesced and agreed to take a break and meet her in the park in half an hour.

Sawyer arrived at the park to find the spring festival fully underway.  He quickly spotted his grandmother and was already making his way toward her before he noticed that she was talking to a woman he'd never seen before.

The moment Sawyer reached them Ruby hurriedly excused herself to go to the ladies room, leaving the young pair to introduce themselves.

Yesssss, finally the attraction system worked in my favor!!!

I decided let the two get to know one another without any interference from me, and after chatting and laughing for a while they started flirting up a storm!

After this autonomous 'Amorous Hug' Sawyer even got a wish to 'Kiss Alexa for the first time'.  I was happy dancing by this time, as I was so pleased with how this was going.

At one point Ruby paused in her egg hunting to happily gaze at the couple, already thinking of soon to be great-grandchildren.

It definitely looked like love at first sight for Sawyer and Alexa, but just to be absolutely, scientifically sure I sent them over to the Love Inspector.

The little lights blinked all of the way up to the top.  It's officially true love then! ;D

It was really cute how genuinely excited they got about this.

The Love Inspector then said this, and they got a +5 'Burning Loins' moodlet as well!

Apparently bolstered by this, Sawyer took Alexa's hand and asked her to go steady with him.  Or at least he tried to, it looked like there was just a lot of flustered stammering happening.

Fortunately she took pity on the poor guy and interrupted him mid-sentence with a kiss as her answer.

Ruby and I are exceptionally pleased, but I don't think anyone is happier with this turn of events than Sawyer himself :)

Awwww, not even Cadmium and Pappy seemed that compatible (at least not the first time around).

Yeah but Cadmium's reluctance was understandable the first time, and they totally made up for the the second time.  It still makes me smile when I think of Caddy running off down the street to go find Pappy again :)

Yeah, they instantly fell for each other the second time, but still not to the extent that Sawyer and Alexa seem to have.

I just want to see their awesome nooboos! It's like you selected every good gene in Moonlight Falls. Also, the more I look at Sawyer, the more I think "LOOK AT ALL THOSE PAPPY GENES." Seriously, everything but his cheeks and jawline can more-or-less be traced back to the handsome old werewolf himself. He's still with you in spirit. :')
