Sawyer is an imaginative kid. On Saturday morning he went on a grand bathtub submarine adventure, and even set a carefully laid trap for the enemy. He was as wrinkled as a prune by the time a got out.
As Sawyer sloshed water out of the tub Puck was gleefully splashing about in the large puddle it made the bathroom floor.
Later that evening Sawyer searched for his father and found him reading in the kitchen. He had a very important question to ask.
Gator was noticeably taken aback. This had come much sooner than he expected; he could hardly believe how fast his son was growing up! He recovered quickly however in his immense excitement to guide Sawyer through this major milestone in a werewolf's life.
So after explaining the process at length Gator demonstrated by quickly changing into human form and back again.
Sawyer had never actually seen a werewolf transformation before and was understandably frightened.
His curiosity far outweighed his fear though, so with his father's encouragement he took a deep breath and began the change just as Gator had instructed.
It was a startlingly odd sensation to be sure, but it wasn't nearly as painful as he feared.
Gator couldn't have been more proud of his son.
They then celebrated together by raucously howling at the moon.
Sawyer was so excited about his new wolfy form that he didn't want to change back even to go to bed that night, and his mother smilingly humored him as she read him his bedtime story.
It was only after Lilith had tucked her son into bed that she discovered the "enemy trap" he'd set during his bath that morning....
