No Publicly Accused Moodlet?

hi simmers I moved to Bridgeport to explore new things. I've read somewhere that when you got "Falsely Accused" by paparazzi, you receive a "publicly disgraced moodlet". So far i was accused 4 times and no moodlet nor options to sue, deflect, etc. Does it mean that the moodlet is only chance to get? thanks!

you mean in the population control? yes i checked it, but i didn't check "opt active household out of celeb. system". I was falsely accused again last night and still no option to sue for slander nor disgrace moodlet.

You could be getting lucky with not getting the moodlet.  I've had it pop up saying I was disgraced with no moodlet but all of my friendships still took the hit though.  Having the moodlet is what allows you to sue for slander, pay off paparazzi and tell the truth to your friends.  Doing any of those three things won't get your back friendships to where they were before.  They just take time and money to get rid of the moodlet.  Talking to new people to get rid of the moodlet may help your relationships but in the end I always noticed it was just easier to get rid of the moodlet than worry about spending money or talking to people.

@Rica we're the same problem, i lost friends too (almost all of them). I will just try to make a new sim maybe my sim is bug on celeb status or something. Thanks for the replies guys, should i close this thread? or just let the mods.

Just leave it.  No reason to close it so that others may come and find it if they have a similar bug.   

I think you misunderstood me on one point.  The losing of friends is part of the celebrity system and is not a bug.  It's always going to happen when you get disgraced, it doesn't matter if you have the moodlet or not.    I find it a good thing when the moodlet doesn't appear, not a bad one.

...or opt your family out of the Celebrity System unless it's something you actively wanted to play with.
