First off, yes, the name is a
Supernatural reference. Everyone I've spoken to about the expansion thought I was talking about it. Conversations basically went like this.
"Man, it's awesome that there are werewolves in Supernatural."
"You mean like the show?"
Consider this my payback.
Meet Patrick Winchester, the Founder of this Life States Dynasty. If I'm lucky, he may just be the start of my first-ever completed Dynasty. Now, what life state am I starting with? A ghost? Obviously not. Fairy? No wings. Vampire? He does have the glowing eyes, so maybe.
Most vampires don't have claws, though.
And vampires don't have tattoos of their mortal enemies on their back. (When did vampires and werewolves become such violent enemies?
Twilight?)
That's right. Patrick is a werewolf. And not one of those retro, "modern" werewolves, either. He has no "teams" for him. No, Patrick is a beast, a true monster like in the old tales.
At least, until I remembered that I have to roll traits for my Sims this time. "Not a problem," I say to myself. "I'll just see what he rolls and go with it."
Oh.
Well, I guess Patrick
could still be monstrous, in the "Ha-ha! Your shoes look ugly! Teeheehee!" kind of way. And Over-Emotional could make him more prone to outbur- look, who am I kidding? This guy's even
more "modern" than Twilight! Any fear he could've caused would be gone as soon as he starts going on about how much he loves children. (To clarify, in the non-eating capacity. Werewolves are nasty that way. Well,
most werewolves. *cough* Patrick *cough*)
All well. All I need to do is play around with the facials and wardrobe, and Patrick looks just as fine as ever. It'll be a little (read: dramatically) different from how I was going to play this, but that's the joy of randomness. After all, now I have a nanny for the rest of the Dynasty.
Not to mention guard dogs. Any werewolf worth his salt (though whether Patrick is truly "worth his salt" is debatable) has got to have a few hunting dogs with him, and these guys don't need to be randomized. This is Romulan in all his aggressive hunter glory.
And his brother Remus is no less mean-spirited. It's true that Remus and Romulan somewhat clash with Patrick's, "Children are wonderful! I wanna be nice and friendly and kind!" mentality, but they look
really cool. I'll probably upload them.
Anyway, these are the Winchesters. I don't have any pictures on anything else, because I don't know where they'll be going. I might just pick at random or something. I barely had time to take these screenshots. There will be more shenanigans soon, I promise.
