Prologue One - Alan's Introduction

Hello, My name is Alan. My family just moved here to Alexander City after the tragic death of my father.  Well it would be more tragic if he hadn't followed us.  Don't get me wrong; I love my dad, it's just hard to make friends when your dad is a ghost.



There he his. My mom says he's gold because that's how he died, being turned into a statue of course.

Speaking of you propably want to meet my mom



She was raised to being a good housewife, not a breadwinner. so I don't know how we'll get along.

Oh, two more thing before I Sign off,

Second I've already made a friend, her name is Jessica Spellcaster. I didn't get a picture of her though.  But she is real.

The next update will be from Jessca's POV I'll prabaly update sometime tomorrow or later tonight, also I seem to have trouble with Images, But all the ones I attempted to post are in the Family Tree

Hi, I'm Jessica Spellcaster.  Alan probably told you about me, but probably forgot to mention my wings. Here's my picture


I'm Good, Excitable and, a Vegitarian.

And here's my mom, Ima (Grandma had a sense of Humor)

She's a witch, But that's not imporant.

The coming chapters will probably be weird if i don't explain why I live with Alan and his parents.

My mother has always hated the Alexanders. They own the town, I'd have pictures, but they're not worth the film.  anyway, My mom turned the head of that awful family into a toad.  We got kicked out of our apartment and couldn't find anywhere else to live. That's when Alan stepped in and helped us.  He is so wonderful. Anyway, I have to go now. Moving in my new room.

Chapter One: Alan's Dad Gets a Job

Hello again, I Have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that my dad couldn't get a job as a doctor, something about ghosts freaking out the patients.



The good news is that he got a job as a fortune teller.



I could overhear their conversation:

"They were the only place that would hire me. I am some sort of freak."



"I still love you"



It got really gross afterwards, so I had to leave.

Chapter Two: Jessica's Grown Up

Jessie here, today was so amazing.  It was my 13th birthday.  But that wasn't even the best part.
Alan he, well, he.  Let me explain from the beginining.

First, I got a new dress for my birthday



After I put it on, I ran into Alan.

Alan- Oh hey.
Me- Hey
Alan- I have to tell you something
Me- What is it.
Alan- I like you, I always have



Me- Oh, *giggles*

At that point I couldn't help but stare in his eyes



And then he kissed me, I could have melted right there



Before my senses regained, he had gone to bed.

Alan- Good Night
Me (to myself), Sure, like I can sleep after that 

And I still can't sleep

Chapter Three: Alan's Parents go on Vacation

Hello again.  Today has been one of the strangest by far. When me and Jessica went to school, Our parents were here.  When we came home, somethings burning and there's a note on the fridge:

    Alan and Jessica,
Daniel, Ima and I have left on a small trip to Al Simhara. We trust that you will not burn the house down or throw any wild parties.
                                                Samantha

Yeah mom, because we are in with the Capps and thier friends. Ha.  But that's not the best part.  Mom left her waffles in the oven, and we are going to burn the house.  So I ordered a pizza.  When I left the phone, Jessica was dancing.



She tried getting me to dance.

Me- Jessie, you know I have two left feet
Jessica- Don't call me Jessie, Come on it'll be fun

I remained unwilling to dance.



But when We Are Young came on, my inner dancer came out



Jessica- *giggles* you were right about your dancing
Me- We can't all be blessed with good dancing by the Fae
Jessica- Speaking of which, what'd you do with that fairy dust I gave you?
Me- Nothing yet, I don't know what to do with it.

At that point, I decided to ask her:
Me- so did you think about what I said?
Jessica- Yes, I feel the same way.
Me- You do?
Jessica- Yeah, I wouldn't let you kiss me if I didn't.

So I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes.



And then the pizza showed up.



We ate and then went to bed.

Today is the dawn of a new day.



I start the day as a taken man.

If anyone knows what fairydust is for please let me know.

Chapter Four: Jessica's New Job

Hello everyone, yesterday Alan turned 20.  So far all he's done is sit around the house.  He tells me he wants his first significant act to involve me and it can't right now.  Sometimes you can never tell what he is thinking.

Then, came my birthday.  Only Alan was there to see it though.  The good news is that my dress still fits.  Then I set out to take a gardening class and become a self employed gardener.  Now I can always be with my plants.

When I came back, I overheard an argument between Alan and Daniel.

Daniel: She's out of high school now. Get a job.
Alan: Not yet dad.
Daniel: What are you wating for?
Alan: You'll see.

Chapter Five: Alan's Question

Hello, Alan again.  Mom and dad are pretty mad at me for not getting a job right away, but I have my reasons. Allow me to share a recent conversation.

Me: Hello Ms. Spellcaster
Ima: Alan.  (I get the felling she doesn't like me)
Me: I must ask you a question about Jessica
Ima: (sneering) Go on. (Honestly I almost ran away in terror)
Me: Ah, Yes. As you know, Jessica is now of the legal age to marry and...
Ima: Alan are you going to ask or are you going to beat around the bush? I do no have time for this.
Me: I am asking for your daughter's hand in matrimony.



Ima: Oh, is that all? Obviously I will allow the honor of being my son-in-law



Me: Thank you, Ms. Spellcaster
Ima: Yes, thank me.

After that awkward conversation. I went to find Jessica post-haste.  I found her in her garden.

Me: Jessie!
Jessie Jessica: Don't call me Jessie.
Me: Right. Sorry. Anyway, I just had a talk with your mother and...
Jessica: I'm so sorry. Please don't break up with me.
Me: What. Wait. No. It was a good conversation.
Jessica: How? My mother isn't the warmest of people.
Me: I noticed. It was a good conversation because it gave me permission to do this.



Jessica: What are you talking about? What are you doing?
Me: Jessica...



Me:... will you marry me?

Chapter Six: Jessica's Answer

Ok. So, you know what happened the last time Alan updated. Well I said yes!



With all that said, a wedding must be planned. But first, my graduation ceremony.  I was class valedictorian and I was voted most likely to have a big family.  Alan was voted most likely to be a millionare. It's kinda funny, because he told me he wanted to be a teacher.



When we got back from the ceremony, Alan told me he wanted to have a semi-private wedding.  He really wanted a private one, but I already bought my dress from Fairycrombie and Witch.  I didn't get a good picture of it, but Samantha got one of the ceremony. It was beautiful.

Alan: Jessica; you are my best friend, the love of my life.  I promse I will spend the rest of my life trying to prove my self worthy of your love.
Me: Alan, words cannot describe how strongly I feel for you.  I dedicate my life to you and our family.



No nooboos yet, but be patient, we'll get there

This has been an odd day with lots of ups and downs.  First the down.  Ima died today.  She loved her magic jelly beans. One of them made her catch fire and rather than use the "dsgusting, cheap showers that were unworthy of her daughter" to put herself out she sood on our back porch and burnt to death.  I feel so bad for Jessica.



Today was also the day I start my new job. After the wedding yesterday, I started looking for a job. The local school was hiring and I always wanted to be a teacher.



Today I also noticed Jessica feeling a bit under the weather.  I assumed that it was her being upset about her mother.



I can't explain why she was wearing that at 3 P.M.

I was also promoted to a Teacher's Aide today. But the biggest news was after I got home. 

Daniel: Welcome Home, working man
Me: Hey dad, I heard about Ima. Where's Jessie
Daniel: Don't call her Jessie. She in her garden
Me: Why do you think she didn't put herself out.
Daniel: Alan, The world is in a unique balance. One that enters must make room



After that strange talk, I left to find Jessica.

Me: Hey I heard what happened, are you OK?
Jessica: I will be soon.
Me: I'm afraid I don't understand.
Jessica: My mother died.



Me: I know.
Jessica: I talked to Daniel
Me: What'd he say?
Jessica: One that enters must make room.
Me: He's always saying things like this.
Jessica: I know, but with me feeling the way I do...
Me: Jessica..
Jessica: Alan, I'm pregnant
