What is the longest length of time you have spent playing Sims 3?!

My longest session is probably only around 3 hours or so. Pretty tame compared to the 7 or 8 hours I've spent on other games.

Yeah I've prolly played for about 18 hours straight (when I first got TS3: Pets) and that's with two 5 minutes breaks for snackage and only 1 loo break (steel bladder that's me!!).... Now I tend to go for 2-3 hour stretches due to the blasted error 12

The amount of time the computer is on with Sims up is different than actual play time.  I turn it on and when I go to shower I leave it on.  Same with breaks to go potty or fix something to eat. 

So, actual play time, probably 8 hours, but time the game was up and running, 12 hours generally.  A good amount of that time can at times be remodeling a house.  I never plan on spending 4 hours remodeling a house, but sometimes I get so into it that the time has gone by, hubby is going are you every going to eat something?  And so I have to take a break.  I have to confess that I often bring my plate to my desk and eat while I am playing.
Won't have food around my books, but don't seem to mind around the computer.   
As soon as I find a job it will cut back a lot, I am sure.

M-F, after work, it gets turned on @ 6:00-8:00 depending on errands, dinner, etc. But I usually eat dinner playing. And then turn it off 11:00-12:00. So short sessions for me during the week, only 4-6 hours. Weekends though, computer gets turned on as soon as I get up 7-9 and Sims pretty soon after that, then I play all day with a few breaks for necessary stuff (I just save and pause) and don't stop playing til 1 or 2 a.m, sometimes later. Unless of course we have to go and actually DO something that day. Longest session, I'd guess, is probably @ 14-16 hours, but if I've got a new expansion, or neighborhood, watch out! My husband doesn't call me a Simaniac for nothing.

The longest I've ever played in a single sitting was 8 hours. On days I work, typically only an hour or so before work, then 2 or 3 after work before bed. On days off, that's when I get to play a lot more

8 hours I think. Got on at eight, got off at four. And I'd sat in the same position for nearly the full day and when I moved my elbow, it felt like it was broken and clicked really loudly.
I don't usually spend that much time on a day-to-day basis. Normally it's about three or four, maybe longer if I'm up early. My parents say to me 'Are you still on Sims?' and I quickly come on here and say 'No, no, I'm on the Forum... um, doing creative writing and improving my reading skills...' It works a charm

Last night I played from 9pm until 2pm, So 17 hours. I took a break of two for things necessary to life but my partner kept me fed and watered. I haven't played for almost a year due to a laptop malfunction and now I am in awe of all the amazing graphics that I was missing. It is now 1am and I am about to turn on my game again for another marathon lol.

Oh god, lately I've been playing 3 to 4 hours straight, and that's been on a daily basis for the past week or so, and if I can have a whole day of relaxing, very much of that would be playing Sims. I mostly like to make Sims and decorate homes. I have a few households I'm playing using different standards. I've been playing Sims since I was 17 and I'm 25 now. I'm happy to say I first started on Sims 1 with all the expansion packs. Love it!

I think my record is 13 hours straight.  Only had to stop at that point because I couldn't fight nature's call any longer.  That and by then it was like 3am, and I was both hungry and tired, since I hadn't eaten since before the 13 hours started.

Hehe. At the bare minimum, two hours a day. Butttttttt, I beat my record by playing Island Paradise for a solid eleven hours yesterday. I got IP Friday, so I got a lil frisky. Lol. I played all day Saturday so getting up for church wasn't easy...

I have gone for as long as 30-33 hrs twice, but my usual habit is to turn the computer on around 11.00am and turn in between 3-4.00am (the next day).  So approx. 16-17 hrs in a session.  I also love to check-in on the forum and just pick places to go.  It's fascinating, heartwrenchingly funny and I love the anecdotes and so much is identifiable.  And so much more I don't know about.  So I will minimize my game for an hour or so once a month and definitely when I have problems and have to come here for help.  It's the best.
