Glitch with gems/metals....?

I recently bought the gem cutter and whenever I cut some gems and sell them, the gems are placed next to my sim. Then when I pick them up I just sell them again. I made about $6,450 from one pear cut bloodstone that kept appearing next to my sim. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. It seems to happen when you sell gems with the game paused. If you unpause the game without reselling the gem, it'll vanish. If you sell the gems without the game paused, it'll appear on the floor for just an instant.
