Fortune Teller Career
« on: September 16, 2012, 08:32:55 AM »
When i get anywhere above level 5, my sim will stop going to work.  The carpool will arrive and she will cancel the go to work action.  i keep trying to get her to go to work by clicking on work but nothing works.

Can someone help with this or is this a bug?

Have you tried putting her into her work outfit and then sending her to her job manually?

I dropped the Fortune Telling Career at lvl 10. Not because of a bug but because the money was pittance. At lvl 10, you work only twice a day. Even with the high salary, the money was horrible.

I make my money from making gems but I do like to work. So I joined the medical career.

I've run one Sim up to 10 in that career and did not experience any bugs/trouble so I'm thinking there is another reason.  If they are cancelling out the carpool, there could be a lot of behavior reasons causing it like they are too hungry or tired or depressed and they don't want to go.  Or perhaps there is something in your home blocking their path to the car?  I know I lock my doors for the full moon and sometimes forget to unlock them the next morning.  A bad house layout could cause trouble too - like a bed that's badly placed so that if they get up on the wrong side (so to speak) they can't walk away.  Definitely try hitting the "go to work" button as this usually is a command they can't refuse.
