Spellcasting duel / witch duelling.

Hi everyone, can you give me advice or some way to do spellcasting duel? Because my witch has a wish for duel in spellcasting but when I try the phone (like chess and sparing tournament) it didn't have that interactions. When I click another witch, there no interaction like dueling. Can you guys tell me how to duel? And how to use magics without wand?

To use magic without a wand, you need to have the Magic Hands LTR, which costs 30,000 lifetime happiness points. As for the dueling, you need to use the spells you've learned, such as ice/fire blast, and the opponent needs to be a witch in order to participate. Other than that, I have no idea as I haven't even attempted a duel yet.

Witches have to be a certain level to duel.
Edit: My advice would be just cast spells until you have the level to duel.

The only witch my sim has had the option to challenge to a duel is one of the Crumplebottom sister. I think it is Bianca Crumplebottom.
I think I've tried about every other witch in town with no luck.

It could be that the other wich might need to be a high enough level to duel.  If that's it, it's probably a good time to go find one of the crumple bottom sisters.  warning,  I think two of them can cast the haunting curse, you may witness a new kind of death.

To duel, your witch should be selected, then click on another witch. It's a separate action under the main interaction menu (mine tend to be opposite Friendly... and Funny... on the menu wheel). If they agree, they'll stand about 2-3 squares apart, and start casting at each other. So far, I've seen smoke, fire, water, fireworks, and glitter.

The LTR didn't work for me. She keeps using her wand. Do you have to get rid of the wand for them to use their hands?

I don't know if you have to, but I'm OCD about empty inventories, so I tossed the wands into a chest immediately. You can also sell them, if you want.

Haven't had an issue with the LTR.

I kept the wand in my inventory. Sometimes she uses it, sometimes she doesn't.

My witch has been able to challenge Doreen Caliente as well. Once at level 3, and once at 8. Doreen lives with the Durwood household and is at level 10, I believe.
