Darn - how old is the former genie now - and how old is Doreen?

Doreen is only a day or two older than Darcy. Doreen hasn't actually move into the house yet. After all, if Shawnya decides to be a really long lived elder, there's a chance Doreen will become old and infertile.

No, Kristie! Curse the vampire habit of dropping off from thirst every time they go someplace for ten minutes! D: Well, at least Darcy can marry his high school sweetheart now, even if she's not Kristie.

I know, I was hoping for Kristie too. Considering I saved literally two minutes before she died, it was so tempting to just . . . quit without saving. Temptation resisted, but ugh, just . . . ugh. First Kimberly, now Kristie!
That Darcy is a sly one. Cursing the fan favourite so he could marry for love! Pah! And I was so looking forward to Kristie's genes

I really do feel like Darcy planned this. He threw up a wish to propose to Doreen, but I canceled it. Then a few sim hours after Kristie dies, he throws the wish up again. I was like, oh fine! Go propose!
Oh, Kristie. You left us too soon.
It's true. That lovely color would've been nice to add into the family, but ah well.
Bennet and BingleyWhile Darcy and Doreen were waiting for the chance to bring a nooboo into the world, Gage and Everette were experiencing that joy for themselves.
Here's Everette with his and Lea Rodgers first (and only) child: Dominique Rodgers.
Unfortunately, the Rodgers household decided to randomly invite three townies to move in with them, cutting off all extra spots in the household for more beautiful Everette and Lea nooboos.
Well, he had to break it off, of course! One of Lea's new townie roommates comforts her while Everette spends some cuddle time with Dominique.
Gage and Tammy also had their first child, a vampiress who takes quite after her mother. Her name is Deidre.
They are already expecting another! Gage shows off pictures of his grandchildren, to help give Tammy a better idea of what they can expect to create together.
Darcy ages up to adult with a quiet at home birthday party.
He stays pretty much the same. Nothin' new to see here, move it along!
Having finished all of his requirements except for the elder portrait session, Darcy decides to have some fun putting that equestrian trait to good use. He buys a horse and, in line with his own name, he names her Bennet Horse.
Bennet is an agile jumper, so it'll be fun to enter her into some contests at the equestrian center. This is also a great opportunity for me to play with the riding skill and see how hard it is to supermax. Who knows, maybe I'll use it in a future dynasty?
Darcy's still learning.

Here's Darcy and Bennet on their way to their first intermediate level jumping contest.
Despite being a bit shaky in the saddle, they finish third.
Darcy also acquires a second horse, this one quite fast and good for racing.
He names her Bingley Horse and, no surprise, they are best friends in no time, despite Bingley's ornery trait.
(How odd, usually Darcy is the ornery one!)
