You know, it's entirely possible she's talking about a departed loved one. That is what that means, right?
In other news, Darcy's impish expression while he's holding court is absolutely adorable. I hope he's juuuust a bit of trouble later!
Also, bless you for putting up with that red glow. I find it beyond annoying how everyone in the house slowly (or quickly) begins to detest the person who does it, no matter how that person behaves toward them. I like a happy household. Sue me.
Haha, I
wish that's all the dinner plate meant! I think Percival wishes so, too. You know, the red glow really hasn't been much of a trouble. It only bothers Gage, but for some reason, it's almost impossible for someone to not like Gage. Have you experienced this with Rosetta? Every time he says anything, it's like the everyone on the lot gets that Great Lecture moodlet.
Everyone loves Gage. Maybe it's just that he's supermaxed charisma, but, yeah. He's the only one who takes issue with Marie and they somehow seem to still get along. Shawnya and the rest of the family however . . .
It Runs in the FamilyPercival, rising sports star, had his adult birthday with a quiet family celebration.
It seems he earned yet another promotion at work.
Of course, maybe it helps that his aunt, Erica Wolff, is his boss. How is she his aunt? I have no idea, but that's what it says in his relationship panel. Man, my family tree has gotten so convoluted even I can't keep up with it! I think she married one of Marie's half-siblings.
Maybe it was just from watching his mother, but Darcy seems to have inherited a bit of knack for the flirting.
He's only a child, but he and Doreen Nix are already fast friends.
"Hi, I'm Darcy!" he says.
And then the next thing you know, they're best friends. Apparently a game of tag works wonders!
He even convinced her to let Gage solve her werewolf problem. Darcy just threw one of those charming grins her way, and she was begging to be turned back into a real, human girl.
Darcy: "I got a little something for you, . . . cutie!" *wink*
Darcy: "Pst, I have a secret. I, I kinda like you! You know,
like like."
While Darcy works his boyish magic on Doreen, his mother Shawnya is sent out of the house for a swim.
No working your magic on people other than your husband missy! I'll keep you busy by sending you off the lot for a swim.
Although Shawnya is a gorgeous sim and her outfits were a lot of fun to make, she really is quite the troublemaker. If I don't keep her busy, she heads straight for Everette or Gage to do some flirting.
This shot is just to show how beautiful Moonlight Falls can be. I've come to love this somewhat gloomy town. There's a certain quality to the light at times that is quite lovely.
And moving on, Marie decides that Percival needs to learn martial arts.
Marie: "Go on you wuss! Don't just flop your arm at it! And you call yourself an athlete!"
Percival: "I . . . have . . . athletic skill! Not . . . martial arts skill!!"
Well, now he has some of both.
Darcy takes the time to befriend Rafeal Nix, Doreen's older brother.
And to play prince once last time, before waving good-bye to childhood.
Darcy: "Adieu! Adieu! Don't worry, ladies, I'll be right back!"
Before he ages up on his teen birthday.
Transformation complete, he just looks at the camera and shrugs as if to say, "Eh, it's okay, ladies. I know I'm gorgeous!"
Then he fussily smooths back one stray lock of blonde hair and scurries off to the mirror for a make-over.
