A double update today: I'm ahead in the game from where the story is right now, so I'm trying to get you all caught up to speed! Be prepared for lots of updates in the near future!
RIP Carmella. I doubt the dynasty would be the same without her and her pleasantly green coloring. On the other hand, someone can finally join Annalove in the family graveyard, right?
Actually, I'm purposefully keeping Annalove as the only ghost on the lot. Everyone else gets a plot in the graveyard. I got tired of so many ghosts mucking about, but since I am somewhat responsible for Annalove's death, I'm keeping her around. I figured I owed it to her after letting her get killed less than 24 hours after moving her in!
All the kids are so cute! I love how they're all such different colors, and Gwenyth is gorgeous!
She really is! You know you'll love your simmies even if they aren't, but it's nice when they turn out as stunning as Gwenyth did.
I love Carmella and her death came as a shock. Was she really that old?
Poor Carmen! Worst birthday ever... I felt a little consoled when Samura went in to cheer him up.
I'm very interested in all the children, but Carmen keeps pulling my heartstrings. He is so unique. I think he looks amazing!
I'm glad you think so, too! Carmen was such an awkward looking boy, so I always had a soft spot for him. He really grew into those facial features, though, and the hair is awesome.
Grim can be quite the meanie at times. R.I.P. Carmella
I just love this story. The sims are very colorful, there's also something about, bare, hairy chested man sims in the mix also. I can't wait to read more.
Haha, I enjoy the hairy chested man sims as well!
Better DaysOf course, no matter how bad life gets, better days are always out there in the future. Fortunately, Carmen didn't have to wait long for his luck to change.
Gwenyth, after all, was having her young adult birthday only a few days behind him. They would be able to resume their romance and face the future together. So the family packed up the birthday cake for another party at the Red Velvet Lounge.
Gwenyth was none too happy with the ridiculous outfit she aged up in, but she was pleasantly surprised to see Carmen's dad, J.J. Fortier at the party. She pulled him aside for a quick chat.
Gwenyth: "Um, sir?" *whisper whisper*
Gwenyth: "Really? That's great!"
J.J.: "Of course, sweetie! And best of luck!"
With high spirits, Gwenyth enjoyed the rest of her birthday party, pleased that such an awkward conversation had gone well.
That very night, J.J. Fortier died of old age. Carmen was devastated to find himself an orphan, and Gwenyth desperately wanted to share her final words with J.J. There were just a few things she needed to get done before she did.
First, the obligatory make-over.
Followed by graduation at City Hall.
And then what do you know, she was right back at Red Velvet lounge.
They had all become quite famous by this point, and the press were all too eager to find some juicy news. Gwenyth decided to give them just what they were looking for.
Gwenyth: "Carmen, I spoke to your dad the night he died, and I'm so glad I did. He . . . he gives us his blessing! Marry me, Carmen, and I promise you'll always have a family for as long as you live!"
And given that this is an immortal dynasty, truer words have never been spoken.
Well what was he to say but "yes," when his own father had sent him a message from beyond the grave!
He accepted.
And they celebrated as only lovers can.
