Double ___?___boos!

A double update today, just because I feel like it! As for the collages, they are made from a site Rica told me about called Picmonkey. It's very, very easy to use. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Samura decides it's time to deploy to "Operation Baby."

Samura: "Hey there, chocolate goodness. Would you like to, um  . . . *whisper, whisper*

Samura: "Step one, complete!" *barf*

Carmella, meanwhile, decides it's time to share the good news with JJ.

Carmella: "Honey, I'm pregnant! You're the father (of course)."

JJ: *fake gasp of surprise!*

JJ: "What, you? Pregnant? Really? Gee, I couldn't tell. You're not showing at all."

Carmella goes into labor only a few minutes later. She probably should've given JJ a little more notice about his impending fatherhood, but hey, at least she told him before the child was born, right?

A quick trip to the hospital and . . .

Everyone, please welcome Carmen to the Dojo household! (Let's face it, who didn't see that name coming especially after Hebe's Herbert and Herbert the Second from my prior dynasty attempts?)

Carmella coos happily over her little man.

Okay, despite the fact that I find the imaginary friend dolls kinda creepy, the imaginary friend bears are adorable! My nooboos are so getting these.

While fishing at the beach, Samura suddenly goes into labor.

She barely makes it home in time for the delivery.

Everyone, please also welcome Gwenyth, generation two, to the Dojo household!

Here is a shot of both nooboos for comparison.

Carmen is a light yellow-green like his mother, whereas Gwenyth is more of a mint green. Two greenboos, who would have thought?

Bravo! Two adorable peaboos!  ;D
(Thank you so much for the Picmonkey tip. 'Easy to use' sounds like music to my ears.)

Nooboos Become Toddlers

A genie lamp and a couple of wishes later and the bones of the Dojo mansion were swiftly constructed. It's an empty shell for now, but you know how it goes: decorating will get updated by and by.

The nooboos, of course, were plenty of fun. Everybody lines up to take turns cuddling.

And of course, nooboos are plenty exhausting. Momma Carmella takes a nap while her nooboo does the same.

In a blink of an eye, it was time for adorable nooboos to grow up and become adorable toddlers.

Beatrice takes Carmen to his cake.

Looks like this little man got more than his momma's skin tone, he's also got her hair color and bone structure.

Samura does the honors for her daughter's birthday party and brings little Gwenyth to her cake.

Despite the fuss, she grows up.

Gwenyth got her mother's black hair and (more importantly) her yellow eyes!

What follows next is pure and unadulterated toddler spam! I make no apologies. Enjoy the cuteness!

Gwenyth may be my most favorite toddler yet. I think she's gonna look like her momma.

Lovely update! All the pictures are amazing, but I like the one of Carmella dozing next to her baby most. :)

Carmen Becomes a Child

Pablo decided he wanted to get a job in the culinary career. I'm not sure why he threw up a wish for it, seeing as he has neither the traits or lifetime wish to match, but hey, getting that fancy fridge sounds like a good idea to me too. Here he is after his first day on the job. So long, repair man! Welcome in the new Pablo: chef extraordinaire!

Samura continues to fish around the clock. She's even starting to become quite the celebrity!

Of course, as soon as Samura started becoming famous, it wasn't long until the rest of the household starting catching some of that fame. Annalove stops by to take a quick pic of Carmella. She never wanted a picture of her before, but now that she's famous its another story.

Beatrice has been busy with her new alchemy station. Never too late to discover a new passion in life!

She even whipped up some handy new potions for Samura. Make a best friend with one quick throw of a cask! Samura heads down to the local tavern to try it out.

Samura: "Hey, ghost man!" *crash* "We're BFFs now, yeah?"

While there, Samura is so impressed with the place that she decides to buy it. Of course, first things first, we have to equip it with an actual bar. She doesn't have the money yet to fully upgrade it, but we'll get there.

In other news, Samura and Pablo decide to try for another baby. She's barely showing, but Samura's already excited.

Last but not least, Carmen ages up to child.

Looking more and more like his mother everyday!

He looks forward to the day little Gwenyth ages up so that he can have a playmate. In the mean time, it looks like peek-a-boo is the only game they can play together.

Carmen: "I can see you!"

Gwenyth: *gasp!*

Next time: A Nooboo and a Birthday.

For some reason, I really, really like Gwenyth . . .

And I envy your building skills. Such creativity! :)

With a house like that anyone will have the papparazzi looking for juicy gossip. It really looks the "I am someone extraordinary" part.

Birthdays and Nooboos

Huh, I wonder if the reason I named her Gwenyth was because I'd seen your name recently. Not a conscious thought, but you know, maybe that's why it popped into my head. So, thanks for a good name! I think it suits her. And thanks for the compliments on the house, guys.

Well, someone in the household threw up a wish to get a portable gnubb set. Everyone really seems to love it. Carmella and Pablo decide to play a game.

I really wish she'd change into something more appropriate before bending over like that. And Pablo, why do you keep blowing kisses in her general direction? *facepalm* Well, sims will be sims. Carmella certainly doesn't lack for attention. JJ Fortier, her fiance and Carmen's dad, drops by for a visit.

JJ: "An early birthday present, my dear!"

Carmella: "Aw, how sweet! But did you have to remind me? Will you still bring me flowers when I'm old?"

JJ: "You know it."

Carmella: *throws up yet another wish to marry JJ*

Nope. Sorry hon, no room in the household. *cancels wish . . . again* Poor girl.

Then the day Carmella had been dreading rolled around: a double birthday for the green gals!

Beatrice: "Yes, finally someone to join me in old age!"

Carmella: "Aw, man! I lost my foxy bikini! Curses!"

But such is life. Carmella picks up Gwenyth--and her spirits--for a second birthday celebration.

A flurry of sparkles.

And Gwenyth becomes a child. Whoops, I caught a picture of her blinking! Don't hide those yellow eyes!

After a make-over, Carmella feels a little better about growing old. Nothing like snow white hair to add some refinement and dignity.

And in closing, Samura gives birth to her second child.

Welcome, Owen! Nice to finally meet you.

And it seems that Carmella's facial structure was made to look good in old age at the cost of any degree of attractiveness when younger... She finally looks beautiful *smile*

A Rough Week

And it seems that Carmella's facial structure was made to look good in old age at the cost of any degree of attractiveness when younger... She finally looks beautiful *smile*

It's funny that you mention Carmella's face shape. I was pretty worried about how Carmen would turn out once I saw he got his mom's facial structure, but I think you'll agree he actually grows into it quite nicely. Maybe it's just better suited for a man?

Aw! JJ is so gallant!
Happy birthday, Carmella and Gwenyth!
Welcome, little Owen! :)

Thanks, SimBlip! It's nice to have such a consistent commentator/reader.

While Gwenyth tinkers with her new inventor's station, an unexpected visitor decides to stop by the Dojo household.

Grim takes Beatrice away, right as she was cooking up a batch of Gwenyth's favorite food, hamburgers.

For an elder, she makes a surprisingly limber swan dive into her grave, which has been packed up and moved to the local cemetery.

Thanks for all your help, Bea. Samura wouldn't have been able to get her dynasty off the ground without you. Who will take over tending the lifefruit now?

While putting their new son Owen to sleep, Samura and Pablo pause for a moment of synchronized grieving.

They take some time to console each other, watch the stars, and talk about where the future is taking them.

They agree that a third and final child is exactly what they need. Nothing like new life to take the sting out of death.

Pablo tries to convince Gwenyth that everything will turn out well. Nothing like a good night's sleep and a fresh new morning.

But I'm afraid she's not having the best week. She misses her dear Bea terribly.

Carmen and his pranks aren't exactly helping either. After all, only her eyes are supposed to be yellow!

And learning to invent isn't so easy, even for a girl as eccentric as Gwenyth.

Pablo ages up to an adult quietly, reluctant to cause a fuss while everyone is grieving.

Even Owen's birthday passes without much note.

Still, even a cloudy week has its bright moments.

Owen ages up with his mother's twinkling yellow eyes: a little sunshine to chase away the rain.

I always like seeing at least one clear and obvious physical attribute follow through a whole bloodline from founder to final heir. Let's hope the eyes make it, they're really unique.

R.I.P Beatrice.
Carmen doesn't seem affected by it too badly.
Poor Gwenyth. That picture with her yellow hair is hilarious!
Yay for a third nooboo!
And oh my, Owen is super cute! His skintone and blond hair combine really well with those striking eyes! :)
