The A Foretold Gift Giving Party

Despite having accomplished the mission for which he was born--providing generation four with excellent, marriageable options--Nolan couldn't resist having a few more adorable nooboos with his first and favorite lady friend, Sophie Rodgers. His final three children are:

Jesse Rodgers, a fairyboo with yellow eyes.

Lea Rodgers, a fairy-rainboo.

And Lester Rodgers, another fairy-rainboo!

Who knows? At the rate that fairies live, this little man could go grow up to father the final generation!

In preparation, Nolan concocts a few Potent Cure Elixers, just in case.

Everette celebrates his young adult birthday.

He receives a make-over.

Then later that day, the family celebrates Snow Flake day with the gift-giving party you saw foretold so long ago.

Which girl was it that he so eagerly looked forward to seeing at the party?

Why, Marissa Rodgers, of course!

They did indeed go to prom together, just as Everette said he would.

A proper sim wouldn't very well stand a girl up, now would he?

Ha, that prom picture.  I love when they swap obvious gender spots in those photos.  Keep bringing on the rainboos.  The pink fairy toddler who's super bald looks like she's got good bones to be a looker later on!

Nolan! Twenty-three children... and counting?  :P
Hehe! That prom picture is indeed cute. How nice of Everette to keep (t)his promise.
Great update!  :)

She does indeed grow to be quite beautiful, and she looks so much like her mother! Well, I haven't had the most manly sims in my dynasty, so maybe they thought a little gender swap was in order: first a cowardly, pink school teacher, and now a baby-faced photographer! Haha! You work with what the game gives you, eh? I had originally intended Gage to be quite masculine and with a mohawk, but then he turned out pink. Nope, no criminal career track for you! Here's the cowardly trait and a change of career plans to boot.

Nolan! Twenty-three children... and counting?  :P

He eventually had so many children that it broke the family tree, so I can't count them all very easily (or maybe that was from traveling?), but it was at least twenty.

One to Go

Having done all that was required of him, and more, Nolan began to feel very tired.

When he realized that Grim was coming for him, he actually clapped his hands and cheered. In some ways, Nolan had had a wonderful life. He accomplished his lifetime wish to raise five children from babies to teens. He had so many lovely children, with whom he had good relationships with for the most part--all the rumors had hindered that somewhat. In the end though, he had purchased a clean slate and made Sophie Rodgers his one and only, and they had had several more nooboos (the fairyboos you saw earlier).

On the other hand, he hadn't had time to make right his relationships with his own family. The Dojo household hated him, utterly, for his cheating ways. Why couldn't they understand he had done it all for them? He begged Grim for just a little longer.

Don't worry, Nolan. When they see how happy Everette is with your daughter, they'll understand. They'll accept you again one day, I'll make sure of it.

Another pair of birthdays soon rolled around. Gage and Marivell grew old together--one of the benefits of marrying your imaginary-friend-turned-real!

Here they are after their make-overs.

At first, I kept Gage in his vest, instead of going with the Japanese look for elder clothes like I had with Samura and Gwenyth. I changed my mind on that later and re-did his everyday and formal wear, but here he is for now:

Marivell aged up with white hair, but it looked so odd on her since she'd always had pink. I re-colored her hair to try and make it look like pink hair gone grey, although I don't think it shows up well in these pictures.

Well, I know it's been a depressing couple of updates, what with three sims dying, so I think I'll go ahead and end on a happy note.

Everette pops the big question!

And she accepts!

Which means up next is bachelor party fun, wedding fun, and Gage becoming immortal. Whoo!

Ladies and Gents, I give you the life of a dynasty spare in a nutshell. Poor Nolan.

I love Gage's Bowler hat. Ever the dapper gentleman. It kind of reminds me of a toned down version of Fred's southern gentleman look when he got old.

Haha! Oh come on, he only had, hm--four lady friends? Five?

Aw, bless you for remembering Fred! I do miss him. Had I not fallen in love with "fun color" sims, I would have re-started with him, but it just didn't feel right to change his skin color.

Yes! Finally Everette proposed, it's about time, the lazy-- Marissa and Everette are getting married! Woohoo!

I know, right! Some sims don't know when it's their time to move on and open up more space in the house!

Additions to the Household

Gage had long since fulfilled his other requirements, so after a quick portrait and sculpting session with grandma Samura, he was good to achieve immortality.

The first bite:

And whoosh, sparkles!

Gage Dojo: Immortal the Third
Supermax: Logic
Career: Education
Black Ops: A French Puzzler, A Public Speaking Event, Tutor Me Please, A Small Painting, Charismatic Cash, The Dish Showdown
LTW: Chess Master
Property: The Toadstool
Building: Sam's Diner
LTRs: Better Mixologist, No Bills Ever, Teleportation Pad
BFFs: Savannah Barrios, Marivell Dojo, Sophie Rodgers, Jasen Quarles, Marie Quarles, Everette Dojo
Portraits and Sculptures for all Life Stages: Complete

Everette and Marissa enjoyed the spring festival together. Love tester, prepare to be broken!

Gage, meanwhile, had an important piece of business to attend to.

He paid a visit to Dewayne Quarles, but he was surprised by what greeted him at the door.

Dewayne, you've become a werewolf. Okay, hm. Well, that's all right. Let me just fetch something and I'll be right back.

*crash!*

Feeling significantly less hairy? More human? Excellent! Want to move in with us?

With Dewayne successfully added to the household, the boys headed out to the Red Velvet Lounge for a bachelor party.

The party was such a big hit, even the undead couldn't resist making an appearance at the biggest party of the year!

The invitation said "Dress to Impress."

Apparently, Dewayne thinks zebra stripes are the way to impress, while Jasen finds diving gear more appropriate. I swear, sims need a better fashion sense!

Well, at least Everette and Gage were looking suave, even if no one else was!

Everette: "I'm gonna getcha, dad!"

And soaked!

I guess the other party guests thought Gage looked thirsty, too.

In closing, the Dojo household adopted a kitty! Here's Decker Cat:

Isn't he just adorable with his angled face and bobbed tail!

It's so weird to see Gage and Marivell as elders . . . Wasn't it only yesterday they were going to prom?

Congrats on your third immortal! ;D Dewayne look scary as a werewolf. :o

Thanks! I'm so pleased at how well this attempt is going! No matter what, I'm finishing this story, even if something should go wrong and make it not HoF worthy. Still, fingers crossed!

Scary cool! I like the blue werewolf look!

He is pretty cool looking as a werewolf, but I think he looks pretty good in human form too (once he gets a make-over, that is!).

It's so weird to see Gage and Marivell as elders . . . Wasn't it only yesterday they were going to prom?

Well, I have been flying through this story as of late, maybe that's why! Gage makes a good grandpy, though; old age suits him.

Spring Wedding

Rain began to fall on the morning of their wedding, but Everette was too excited to care.

After all, he was finally getting married to the woman of his dreams: Marie Quarles!

I'm sorry, were you expecting a different purple girl?

Marie: "This is so sudden! I mean, we've been friends for so many years, but--yes, yes, yes! Of course I'll marry you!"

Wait, aren't you dating her half-sister?

Well, he was.

Everette: "I'm sorry, Marissa, but it's over! I'm in love with Marie!"

Marissa: "But we've been dating for years! What's going on, Everette?"

Everette: "She just graduated high school, so I don't have to hide my feelings anymore! I'm in love--she looks so much like Samura!"

Marissa: "Hold on. You want to marry someone who looks like your great-grandmother? What is wrong with you!"

I mean really, let's face the facts: when you can marry a girl who looks like Samura, why would you chose a girl who looks like Sophie Rodgers? Sorry, Sophie, but Samura's got you whipped any day of the week!

                                        Sophie                                      v.                                    Samura

Ladies and Gentlemen, our choice is clear.

Okay, maybe I'm a little biased! A little. Maybe.

The point is, I couldn't resist a face that looked so much like Samura, so please welcome the latest member of the Dojo household: Marie Dojo! Here she is in all her make-over glory:

And, just to emphasize the similarity, here's a look at her in Samura's hair style and color:

Despite the rain, the wedding was lovely. Plus, you know what this means next: nooboo!

I mean, seriously, was anybody shipping Everette and Marie?

Anybody?

Well Everette, you just got creepy.

I kid. Marie is a knock-out! I totally renounce my Marissa/Everette shipping of the past.
