I finished my dynasty at last, so pleased that I finally got to the end after all the false starts I had with crashes, I got so sick of rebuilding my house each time  ;D

Sent Metro a PM and will start my story in a second.

Congrats on another completed dynasty, Turoskel! And it means another story from you, which is also a great thing. ;)

Thanks Trip, I feel a bit lost what to do next right now, challenges are finished, dynasty is done, now seems a good time to start catching up on other peoples stories such as yours. I may tackle one of the other dynasties in the future but not sure if I'll try for HoF again.

Yep — you are officially in the Hall of Fame. Grats, Turoskel.

Does the money maker challenge count more than once? I mean for the different instruments.

@Lisa46

Yes, the money maker challenge counts for 4 (guitar, piano, drums, bass).

Oh, that's good. I haven't had a virtuoso yet, but when I do I'm using that.

I've been lurking the forums for awhile, and I decided that I wanted to try the Life States Dynasty. I just have one question before I start. Is Custom Content banned? Thanks in advance.

CC is fine. While we don't encourage discussions of it here on the forum, people use it and we're a-okay with it. Even for dynasties.

I mean, don't use a CC television that gives all the perks of one of the expensive flatscreens for 100 simoleons, but it would be silly to stop someone from using CC hair or something.

Thanks. All I'm using is make-up, hair and some dresses, so it should be fine. No CC furniture.

I am having an issue with my third generation. She aged up to child on a Sunday, went to school until Thursday and attended ballet. She has neither gotten on the honor roll(despite having an A on her first day due to her mums tutoring) or received any opportunity. I thought with being tutored and being involved in ballet, she would be fine, but now I am worried as she only as one more school day as a child. What should I do? Thanks in advance for you help.

You may only kill to create a ghost and this is crucial — it has to be freewill on your Sim’s part that kills them. You cannot directly instruct them to do an action resulting in their death. Here’s an example: you can set up a situation where there is a puddle of water near a broken electrical appliance, BUT you cannot tell the Sim to fix the appliance. They have to do it themselves.

if I want a starvation ghost, how do I do this? Example: I set up a starvation room and my sim goes in on its own to watch tv. This is free will right?

How could he get into the room and starve in it? The only situation I can imagine is having him go into the room, locking the door while he's in there, and keeping him away from food. Which seems a little too far in my book. What were you thinking of?
