Cricket was able to get her PI trophies in Moonlight Falls without any issues, but this was back on patch 1.42. Who knows what has changed since then? Sorry to hear about the issues.

I'm betting it's because there was a crowd of people either in front of him or in front of her.    The routing in some towns isn't good for the celebrations sometimes.    I almost had the same thing happen in Sunset Valley but Hank got his bigger than usual tuckus out of the way just in time.

Nope. There was no one. No people came at all. It was just him trying to get the award from the mayor, she came out, and turned around and went back in.

Nothing. Just the routing symbol. It was bizarre.

That is bizarre and I'm sorry it's an issue.  Without knowing why it happened I can't give suggestions on what to do to fix it.  

Have any other careers not been able to get rewards?

Not so far. So far I've only had self-employed careers and their awards are all inside the building. The PI has had some awards he went inside to pick up and those worked fine, but anything with a ceremony has not worked. Since I plan to use other Ambitions professions in the future, I am concerned about this. Besides, I want the nice awards for my wall. The game won't give me the coolest-looking ones.

I'm doing research about this problem. So far it has been suggested that it could be a combined-rabbithole issue. I found this video which shows the same thing that happened in my game. It was even snowing at the time. Do you think that's a factor?

Anything could be a factor with combined rabbit holes.   The question I wonder is if it's the snow.    Trip mentions being able to do it with patch 1.42 and all the issues we have with combined rabbit holes came with Supernatural (1.39).

Maybe it is the snow. Pretty annoying that it all happened in winter then.

I searched through this topic but I didn't come up an answer, are spirits counted as a possible museum item? I don't know that it directly required logic...I though I saw it on the list last time I looked but I wanted to verify before i start over again

The only list Spirits are on is the one for wishes.   Spirits are for a career not as skill.   Logic gives you potions.

I know that science samples are allowed, but when I went to place them I couldn't put them on anything. They wouldn't sit on top of a table, pedestal, alchemy cabinet, shelf, or display. If you want to use Science samples, how would you place them in the mausoleum? On the ground?

If that's where they can be placed then yes.  Nothing says the mausoleum has to be pretty.  It just has to have 2 career rewards and 7 items for each life state and those items can't be "in use" in anyway.  So separate from the household.

Will the samples go in the elixir cabinet? Or have you tried the white box in miscellaneous décor? Failing that, you could place some foundations/friezes perhaps?

The samples do go inside the alchemy cabinet, yes. Just not on display. I did not try that white box, I didn't think of it. Oh, a platform or something might work. I already came up with an alternative plan for mausoleum items, but these are still a good idea.

By the way, do items you clone using the Science skill count for mausoleum items? They're not on the list, I know, but I just wanted some clarification.
