Oops, is it ok to move them now and not fail? Gen two was *just* born. (Dang, I like that fridge too...) *Crosses fingers*

See if that works.  If it doesn't, I would really suggest going back a save or two until before the problems started.

My problem is fixed, but I didn't know career items had to be in masoleum so I used them after gen two was born (one fairyboo, and two wereboos.) I just need to clarify about the career items. They've been moved to masoleum now, but not before babies were born. (They were the last wish too!)

Thanks. :) Now, to go play with the 1.5 million Argus has brought in (thank you tiberium!). I've seriously never had a sim this rich, it's insane.

Query:

Since Inventing will also raise your Handiness skill, can the Handiness skill certificate count as a unique career reward? (It's not on the list that I saw)

For what career?  If you're talking the inventing career, than no because handiness is like a byproduct.  I've actually managed to supermax inventing without ever maxing the handiness skill before too.

Well, crap.

I was hoping otherwise, since I saw that Science has fishing/gardening/handiness, but I've maxed Science without maxing fishing before.

Oh well, I shall approach this as a challenge! ;D

You can use the handiness certificate for the science career but not the inventing career.  You can even use the handiness certificate for the military branch too.

 :) Not anymore!

(My inventor maxed Handiness and Inventing, and Ama maxed Inventing because I completed her LTW)

:) It was a generalization.  I so need to catch back up on my reading now that my silly little story is almost done.

Pfft, your story isn't silly.

I'm sure if it were allowed, Artie would replace Mr Steel as Mr Dynasty.

(I have to go seriously update my Dynasty too :-[)

Can an Inventor use the Handiness skill certificate if they are also supermaxing Handiness?

It's far from little, too. And it is my humble opinion that Artie is far better looking than Christopher.

Artie may not be quite as famous as the Dreamweavers, but I believe he is rather far up there.
Artie is totally better than Thin Lips!
