I'm playing in Moonlight Falls, and so far things have been going very well. However, now that my second generation is nearing the end of Child stage, I've come up against a problem. I'd counted on the afterschool ceremony being a guaranteed Opportunity, and I got the prompt to attend ballet recital all right. However, the option to do so simply isn't there when I click on the schoolhouse. Apparently this is a known issue in Moonlight Falls which I wasn't aware of. My question is this: If I don't get another Opportunity, can I count the recital anyway, since it's through no fault of my own that it's not working properly? I'd hate to fail the challenge due to a bug.

Edited: Apparently it's a bug that can affect other neighbourhoods as well, according to a thread I found on official forums it's caused by going on a field trip, which I had done before it happened. Another bugthread says it's caused by the Moonlight Falls being combined rabbithole with the Stadium though, and that putting in two singlepurpose rabbitholes can fix it, so not really sure what's what.

Currently my Spouse is not an Occult and I'm just checking but can we use the Elixr Potions to make them into Occults?

So to make my Spouse an occult I'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Hmm.. *Goes off to read the Werewolf guide*

Does reading the skilling books to toddlers (writing, logic and paint) count as part of the level 3 requirements? And let me tell you, potty training, teaching talking/walking to four toddlers is sheer chaos! lol

So, if the riding skill certificate is bugged, will you let us count it when we reach level 10?  Or do I need to go and find my founder a new career?

Yes, reading the books to get the skill points for a toddler is fine.

No, if the riding skill certificate is indeed bugged then give yourself credit when you max the skill for that career object you should have received.

Thank you, Metro...I will find out if it's truly bugged when I max it.

Ghost Hunter – trophy, key to the city, logic skill certificate

There's also the Ghosthunter's Medal (ribbon award).

The schoolhouse bug is definitely still going strong. I guess before next generation I can replace the school, but unfortunately if I do it at this point I'll lose the grades and won't be able to make the honor roll. So, can I count the buggy ballet recital opportunity if I don't get lucky and have another opportunity spawn?

I'm waiting for Metro and I to both be caffeinated and awake so that we can discuss this problem.  I promise we're going to get back to as soon as possible.

No which is why the rule states regular wishes versus just saying wishes.

Are we allowed to start with pets, or only the Founder?
