@laurela: I actually forget when that opp completes.

I'll let you count it if you've done everything else needed to complete it.

@Trip
I was actually able to check in another game (thank god I got the opp) and it completes immediately after the game so I'm actually okay now.

Thank you! :)
I have no idea what to put here.

Not the worst set of traits to roll for you founder in an attempt at this one
- Childish
- Dramatic
- Loner
- Neurotic
- Supernatural Fan

Certainly not the best set of traits, but nor are they the worst :)

@Deklitch: At least they'll love their new household!

They'd make a good writer with those traits, especially with Neurotic because "freaking out" is an easy de-stresser.

@laurela: Yes, you have to send a PM to the Challenge Team. Please include:

- Life states used
- In-game time used to complete
- What you liked the most
- What was the most difficult
- A picture of your family, preferably listing who's in it

Congratulations! I hope you had fun playing it. :)

I've had a weird thing happen and I'm not sure what to do about it.

My werewolf heir and his genie wife just had twins, a werewolf boy and a genie girl. By the end of her infancy, the genie girl was halfway to completely hating her father (see here). She just aged up to toddler and now has a completely negative relationship (see here). All her father has done is feed her, snuggle her, etc. Every time he interacts with her, their relationship seems to get worse. Also, he glows red whenever he gets near the children (I haven't seen the hate from the boy, but their relationship hasn't improved, either).

Does anyone have any idea what's up with this? The little girl needs to be best friends with both parents to complete the challenge, but how can I do that when her relationship with her father only gets worse instead of better?

Is your sim the Emperor of Evil? That red glow suggests that he is. Some traits - good, friendly, family oriented make a sim very negative to that red glow. Have him quit his job and see if it helps.

Sorry for my absence here. @KRae is right. It also tanks relationships with anyone in Law Enforcement, though it's not an issue for your toddlers. :P

Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm getting my dynasties mixed up or not, and reading the first post, I can't see an answer either way, so I'll ask here to be safe and all:-

Can the spouse of an heir/the founder already be the parent of children in game ie am I allowed to marry Cornelia Goth or Marty Keaton, or is there a restriction on spouses being sims without children like Aggie C or Christopher Steel?

@Deklitch: Yeah, you might be getting dynasties mixed up, but it's pretty normal with five of them (and I have to think about the TS4 rulesets too!).

Life States Dynasty spouses can have pre-existing kids (heck, gen. 3 in mine married a man with grandkids). Same with Immortal Dynasties. It's the Decadynasty and the 4x4 that ban it.

Ok, my founder married a premade sim in Roaring Heights (Gerald Picard) who was of normal lifestate. However, his mother, Nancy Picard has been made into a werewolf by the game.

Given that in Sunset Valley with supernatural lifestates enabled that either Jared or Claire can be turned into a witch/werewolf/vampire/fairy and this can impact on their offspring's lifestate as well, does Gerald having a werewolf mother mean there's a chance the heir will be a werewolf, or is it only hair colour/eye colour/skin colour that can get handed down from grandparents and the gen 2 child/ren only have the chance of being normal (yay) or genie (boo)? And if a werewolf is possible, I presume that would count, wouldn't it

As Mrs Picard is a werewolf, will the game enable me at some later stage to marry her into the family, as disgusting as that sounds to me, or will the game prevent that from happening? I'm not trying to do a "I'm my own Grandpa" situation in the Sims (as it has already been done and posted on Youtube) Roaring Heights seems somewhat restrictive on turningsims into supernatural, and another (possible the other) werewolf in town was Gen 1's best friend requirement.

Edited to Add: First batch of offspring are both boys and both genies. So, I can age them up quickly if I so desire, choose traits and careers for them and move them out without any further need to meet requirements with them?
