If I had to guess (cause it's been awhile), I think you need either a witch+ alchemy artisan or supernatural fan+alchemy artisan.

Thanks guys that could explain it.

She's a fairy with absolutely NO relevant traits; innappropriate, dramatic, neurotic, perceptive and hydrophobic so there weren't a lot of options career/ skill wise (but she was still the better option than her twin for heir). Was really easy to get romantic interest as a teen though with innappropriate :)

Hey ho. May just have to use "Have First Child" if max career doesn't roll soon. Can't HOF it anyway as a spare seems to have stolen her dad's Patrol Car career reward when she left home.

The heir that birthed your spare can invite them back into the house. I'll still let you go for HoF you can get the cruiser back.

Ah I hadn't thought of that. Thank you

And for next time you move a spare out, either give them a different car in their inventory, or use the "Kick Out" option so that anything they own is yours. The latter is mean but it gets the job done, for free! :P

yeah I kicked them out before so I don't know how they ended up with the car. Upon moving them back in and then kicking out again the two sloppy jalopies given to avoid further theft were returned to the founder's inventory as usually happens on kick out. Not sure what happened but it's sorted now so am just going to move on.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, guys, I'm looking for some advice on what Gen 6's skills/career should be. They have Clumsy, Absent-Minded, Slob, Unflirty, and Brave as their traits and quite frankly, I'm stumped. Gen 5 took the Firefighter career while Gen 4 took all the athletic skill challenges. I'm starting to think a micromanage skill like social-networking might be good because I have to watch them anyway. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Nope. Hmm...the only problem with that I see is that a) Gen 2 supermaxed Logic so we'd have to watch that and b) one of the spares went into law enforcement and his police car is still in someone's inventory (can't remember whose off the top of my head). Thanks for the idea, Trip!

Hi, my mailbox is acting up, I tell the sims to Get Mail and they'll perform the action, then cut over to a nearby spot without having gotten anything out of the mailbox. Permission to replace it with a new one?

Could I get a ruling, please?

My generation 3 is doing Street Art as one of her skill challenges. She's completed Master Muralist and Precision Sprayer, but cannot complete Always Wanted. She's at level 10 SA, and the current journal check says that's completed over 55 mural projects (and 2 tags), and 0/5 of them are Masterpieces.

Now, I suppose it's possible, but it seems highly unlikely that she wouldn't have a single Masterpiece with all of those projects done. I've done small, medium, large; wall and ground both. Multiples of all sizes on ground and wall.

May I go ahead and count that as completed?

Try doing just wall and ground murals first. Some of the wording seems to imply that those are the only types that produce masterpieces.

To me, it just sounds like bad luck vs. a bonafide bug and I'd consider finding different skill challenges.

Alright, will do. Thanks for looking into it :)

(64 murals, 0/5 masterpieces. I hate generation 3 lol)

I just completed Always Wanted with my gen 3 a few days ago. It took over 60 murals to get 5 masterpieces. I did mostly small wall murals because they're faster. The only one that seems to be a masterpiece is the one that looks like a window. I'd have her start and could tell pretty fast if it was the window or not. If so, I'd have her complete it. If not, I'd have her quit and someone else remove it. It sped things up a bit.
