Guys, I have a question: my Fairy Founder gave birth to triplets: a fairy ghost, a fairy and a normal baby. Can I make the fairy ghost the founder since it is technically a different life state?

Hi, I'm not sure if this has been asked before but if you have the Arboretum, there's an action that says 'Talk to Baby's Breath.' If you do, you get a moodlet that gives you a 50% chance of having a kid with a random occult life state. I was wondering if this was legal to do or not.

Hmm, I never knew about that. I think a lot of the challenge of this dynasty comes from finding a spouse with a new life state, so I'm going to say don't do it.

Hi, so I have a quick question. My LD is in Moonlight Falls and the Gen 2 heir has gotten the opportunity for the ballet Recital. The only problem is that it isn't showing up in the options list, even when I click on the opp star icon. What should I do?

Go to the lot and consider it counted. For future generations, have you considered buying a throwaway property and putting an uncombined school rabbithole there?

I'm not entirely sure. Try it first without bulldozing the original, though.

Gen 4 just aged up to YA and moved her spouse (Aaron) in and something went buggy with the move-in.  First of all, when I checked his relationship tab after he moved in, the heir was listed twice, one version that was a vampire and that he was friends with (IE the one that moved him in) and another that was a stranger and not a vampire.  The second one went away after a while so I figured I was okay.

Then just now I started up my game and tried to click on a door to change the allowed sims, and basically it's like the family no longer lives there.  Clicking the door gives me the option to purchase property and when I mouse over the walls it shows the empty house icon.  I cleared caches and restarted and it didn't fix the issue, and I also noticed that when I select that save it doesn't even show Aaron as part of the household.

Can I go back to my last save and try moving him in again?

The clone of your heir might be benign. The game has to temporarily do some sort of clone of a sim when they're the subject of an ice sculpture, and once in a great while, the game clones one of your active sims for the Service NPC household. It happened to one of my immortal dynasty heirs, and I found it too funny to forget and made them the best of friends.

But yeah, the door issue is weird and probably indicative of something worse with the file. Good luck.

2 questions, both related to spouses. The two things asked her are purely examples.

1) Can the spouse of your heir have prior babies. EG Can my female fairy founder marry the vampiric Jared Frio, or does his child with Claire preclude him from the spouse pool?

2) Can a future heir marry the best friend of a previous heir? EG Can gen 2 Vampiric male heir marry the werewolf Aggie C who was qualifying bestie with my female fairy founder or does her status of bestie preclude Aggie from the spouse pool?
