I thought you didn't have enough expansions to do this challenge.

Career rewards, maxing a career and maxing a skill are three different things.

Science career can use fishing and gardening certificates if that's what you want to do.  However,  if you max out handiness and don't use it.  YOU are the one that made the handiness certificate ineligible for any other heir.

Just because the certificates are an option doesn't mean you have to use them.

You can max a career without ever learning a single skill.

I'm away so I can't modify my last message.  The only reason you wouldn't be able to claim both super spy rewards and DNA profiler rewards is because they both earn the car.  So neither one could claim it.  If you don't use the car then it doesn't matter.

I notice that the Scam Artist track of the Fortune Teller career doesn't have any rewards listed in the official list of career rewards, even though it uses logic and charisma as metrics, and those skills produce certificates and hence career rewards. Is there a reason behind this or is it just an oversight?

Just an oversight.  I hadn't realized it used those two.  For some reason I thought it used alchemy for both sides and of course alchemy doesn't give a cert.

Well, unless the Guide is lying to me (I haven't personally played that track). :P

Oh, and is it safe to assume that the rule on selling cameras is the same here as for the immortal dynasty? I have a different question on that for the decadynasty too, so watch that thread...

If you can't tell, I tried to start a new life states dynasty today, until my computer restarted itself for automatic updates.

No it's not the same as immortal dynasties that's why it wasn't mentioned.

Not sure if everything is all up to date/valid for University Life yet, but do Street Art murals count as valid mausoleum objects? If I direct my sim to just tag/mural the walls of the mausoleum, does this count as paintings would?

The rules are up to date and so are all the lists for the information we know.

You would find your answer there but yes street art is different than paintings.  Sketches are the same as paintings.

If Sim A uses all 5 logic skill challenges, can Sim B max logic without completing any skill challenges, and not invalidate Sim A?

It wouldn't invalidate the skill challenges.  However, neither one could use the skill certificate as a career reward.

Are Gambling and Archery (and Violin) off limits for skill supermaxes for the dynasty challenges as well as for the challenges leading to the world rating, or just for the challenges leading to the world rating?

Also, I know that Gambling came courtesy of Lucky Palms, but where do Archery (and Violin) come from?

Please don't cross post in the future.

At this time, gambling is off limits.   We won't know about anything else until it's an actual skill.

I just started a new Lifestate dynasty and have finally acquired sufficient funds to begin construction on my house. As I started with the nursery I saw a few items that I bought but not played with as yet.  I'm unsure whether they are premium items or not. They are: the head start playpen and the local motion toddler walker. Am I allowed to use them?
