I have to say though, I never pictured Parker to be a bully.

Yipes...this story is making me think!

Haha! Parker equals the classic and sleazy heartbreaker, right! There's more of him to come! He's that loud jock who can get any girl he wants, and wouldn't mind being mean to get rid of anything in his way. But then, perhaps, Holly is wrong in her estimate!

I always puzzled why Nick had such a bad relationship with Holly, him being family-oriented and all. I hate Vita but Nick is not that bad, in a way. I've been reading The Godfather these days and think I've got an idea to get them going<wink>!

It's difficult to write from a child's point of view. I agree with those before me in saying that Darlene's voice is very believable.

Writing from the point of view of a child isn't easy, and not all professional authors can do so, but you have done really well! 7 year olds think that their siblings are adopted, and Darlene has the perfect personality for you to write about that.
