Can't see Sim

My Sim is invisible, resetSim doesn't work nor does ResetSim *. I've tried edit town, I still can't see her.

What do you mean by invisible?

Is she still in the portrait box with a picture, just can't be seen walking around?
Is her portrait box green and can't be seen walking around?
Is she still showing up in the relationship panel, but has no portrait box nor walking around (like she moved out, but you know she didn't)?

What do you mean by tried edit town?

Did you split up the household so she goes to the clipboard, then merge the household so she's part of it again?

Moving this thread to technical help so that more people will see that it's a problem thread.

My only suggestion other than a mod would be the last thing Shirin suggested.  Even if you have to go, move into another house and then merge.

Her portrait box is green with no picture, I can't see her walking around. I tried moving her out of the house and back in with Edit Town, it didn't work. She shows up in the household picture, not sure if in the relationship panel.
Edit: All the other Sims are fine , I can see them.

This is actually a common problem that involves Sim Corruption.  Crinrict's blog talks about it a little bit and offers four solutions.  One you've already partially tried.  The four are to change active households, move entire family out & back in, load a backup save, and move that family to a new town to see if that will get her back.

This has just happened to me too.  It happened in one household, but resetsim got her back.  But then it happened in a different household, and in this case I see her, but her portrait box is empty in the household grouping and it also doesn't appear where it normally would when I would be playing that sim.   I still see her though, like she's from a different household and I have no control over her.

I tried resetsim and it didn't work. 

I'll try the other options noted.  Thanks!
