Teen Fairy Cannot Change Hair or Clothes

I'm playing Sophie Rodgers in Moonlight Springs.  She just aged to Teen and when I tried to give her new hair and clothes, the options were grayed out and said that Sophie has been transformed and cannot change her appearance.  If I can't change these things, she's stuck with the random hair and clothes the game assigned to her.  And they're not pretty or from the new collections!

Perhaps only editing in CAS is allowed for them, although that seems a bit mean. Like how imaginary friends turned real can't be edited in CAS but the mirror and dresser work fine. I've been able to take a fairy into CAS and edit them there, although I haven't actually tried the other way yet.

@Pam on the magical mirror there is a option for a magical makeover. I haven't try it out, but perhaps it will work for your fairy.

Thanks to both of you.  I'll try CAS the next time I open the game.  It won't be that big a deal really because fairies are banned from Dynasties anyway.  It would have been a violation of the rules to use cheats to change appearance, unless Metro made an exception for it.  But, like I said, they are banned because of their long lifespans.  I'm also curious to see if it carries over to adulthood.

Ah!  I wondered if it might be something like that.  She got some kind of blessing or something from another fairy and is glowing yellow.  I'll watch and see what happens.  Thank you!

Sort of similar, but my Fairy blessed her teenage witch daughter with the Flight of Felicity, and as a result I couldn't plan an outfit for her prom because she had "undergone a transformation" as well. I didn't check if I could plan outfits for her when it wore off but I will check it today probably.

It just happens that my game crashed and I lost Sophie's aging up to Teen.  I just played it again and without the blessing from the other fairy and Sophie can change her hair and clothes just fine.  So, it's only when they are under that transformation spell thing that they can't change their appearance.
