Wedding presents are still broken, even in the new EP

I got Supernatural on Tuesday, and yesterday I finally got around to marrying off a couple of my Moonlight Falls sims.  A little while later, the mailbox gave them the option to write thank-you notes for wedding gifts that they hadn't actually received.

I know this has been broken since Showtime, but geeze, I'd think they'd have fixed it by now!  We know they know about it.

(Yes, I know I can use a money cheat to give my newlyweds funds, then buy them stuff and pretend that those things were wedding presents.  But seeing what people sent is more fun than having the stuff; for me, it's the whole point, really.)

Yes, I would have thought it would be fixed in the recent patch. Still, it's not a big deal...although it does somewhat gall me to write thank you letters to people when they didn't get me anything

It still improves your relationship with the person to send the notes and gets you a handful of lifetime happiness points, so it's not for nothing.

I think the part I miss most about it is getting messages about my horse or dog sending me a present. Never have figured out how a horse buys a statue and then mails it to me.

...and my mother-in-law's ghost. Invariably, if one or the other member of the happy couple has a deceased parent, there'll be a present from them.
