Finding mushrooms in towns other than Moonlight Falls

Does anyone know if you can find the various mushrooms growing in the wild in all towns, or just Moonlight Falls?

I found seeds in Lucky Palms. The seed says the name of the mushroom, not "uncommon" or whatever.

Since the salamanders are fished up off the beach in Moonlight falls, I would check non-freshwater fishing spots for them first in other towns.

I have found Salamanders in a lot of the same pools I find Red Herring (all but the ones with vampire fish in them).

There are a couple mushrooms growing around the science facility in Sunset Valley. I've also found them around the grave yard.

I'm still playing in Hidden Springs for now as I want a sim from there to be my alchemist, and I've found a few varieties of mushrooms growing wild - just outside the cemetery and across the road from it.

I'll be working in my BB remodel today and will check for sites for the new plants, fish, stones, etc.  I'm glad to hear they spawned elsewhere!

I'm looking specifically for toadstool mushrooms in sunset valley. Haven't found them at the science faculty or graveyard. Any other suggestions?

I have some uncommon seeds I've found. If planted, do you think they could turn into mushrooms that can't be found growing wild?

I put the elixir consignment shop in SV and I found the red toadstool and the Mycenas for sale there. Now I'm growing them so I can have a steady supply.

I never got an option to insert the elixir shop into Riverview. It automatically prompted me when I 1st installed super natural from the original town (I think Sunset Valley). Do I have to go to some menu? I've seen some mushrooms in central park in SV, they seem to come and go randomly.

Find the button in the bottom left corner to select edit town. This will cancel all current opportunities and such for your current sims. Then in the panel where it shows your sims you can choose community lots. If you have supernatural downloaded, you should see the elixir consignment shop and you should be able to click on it and place it on a spot the same size or larger than it is. Hope this helps!
