I think my own, personal old fashioned beliefs came in unill you reminded me; you don't have to be married either in sims or in real life to have relationships with another.  I'm no prude for others (same sex, live together, whatever  it's a person's choice and I will support it for them) but for me, not others, there is no ifs, ands or buts, marriage first.

So, that is what was stuck in my mind, they were no longer married, so no longer whoohoo.  So when it had popped up; it didn't click in my brain sims setup, not my personal ones.

Okay, back on topic, they are able to not only marry, but she would be able to have a child.  Interesting, may try that sometime.  Side note, she died so I get to have fun watching and seeing how they interact with each other.    Another couple I will try the having a baby and maybe bringing them back to life.

Ah, glad that was cleared up for you. :) (My beliefs are just the opposite, and I only marry my sims off to ensure that they'll share a bed almost always)

Ghost children can be fun, just be aware of the "A Ghost!" reactions that can pop up.

Tombstone size is indicative of the amount of LTHP accumulated prior to death.

Is this based on total LTHP, or is it on the net remaining at the moment you die?
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

It is based on the total amount you earn, not what's remaining.

It is how much LTH your Sim accumulated over their lifetime… hence the name.
I’m not sure on the exact figures but I believe you need 100,000 to get the largest tombstone and around 25,000 for the second-largest. I’ll run some tests later.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

Very cool. I didn't know that. Thank you both.
