Just making sure I'm reading the rules right. Maxed skill means to max all 10 levels right? Not SuperMax it?

Maxed skill means any skill at level 10.   Otherwise it would say supermaxed.

It's the effect that is banned -- the skill boost. You can still make them -- just be very very careful a Sim's high freewill does not kick in and DQ you.

I'm going to attempt my first challenge without needs static. Looks straight forward and I'm getting quite good controlling 1 sim without it, so I may as well add another one!

I read about the problem with the Mushroom Collector skill challenge in the Life States Dynasty thread, so decided to check up on my non-collecting Sim in this challenge. Unfortunately, even though he hasn't touched a single mushroom, he also has the Mushroom Collector. I'm not sure what you'll rule on this, but it looks as though everyone in the household gets credit for every mushroom gathered.

Also, on the Consignment Reputation skill challenge, I have a sim with the impressive reputation, and she is also charged $0 for fees, which is the reward, but it's not registering in bold type. Can I assume it will count?

I got Showtime recently and this seemed like a good challenge for discovering Starlight Shores so Thomas and Gloria McNabb found themselves forced to live outside and slave away at skills for twelve weeks. I did see some of the town during this time though, it's not bad.

I don't have pets so this is just for the two sims (no Supernatural either)

Maxed skills: 19
  19 x 1000 = 19000

Non-maxed skills: 0

Skill challenges: 37
  37 x .05 =1.85
  1.00 + 1.85 = 2.85

19000 x 2.85 = 54150

Final Score: 54150

I've run into a problem, I know there is probably an easy solution, but I don't know it lol. I put walls up for the alarms, and I of course bought a shower, but they won't use it when the other one is in the same "room", but there are no other "rooms" to go to! I even tried putting the shower behind the wall, but she still shoos him.

Just have him leave the property.  Even if it's just a step or two over the "property line" it should work.  Or perhaps across the street.

I asked a question about the mushroom skill challenge a couple of days ago, but I think it got lost in the shuffle.  Anyway, I discovered in the Life states Dynasty thread that everyone in the household harvests a mushroom whenever one person does. And sure enough, when I returned to my file, I saw that my sim who hasn't touched a mushroom has completed this challenge as well as his partner. I don't think it's a glitch, I think it will probably happen to everyone who grows mushrooms.

I hope you won't decide it's a disqualification. The question is whether you want us to count the mushroom skill challenge or to remove it from challenges that can be scored.
