Changes to the Political career?
« on: June 11, 2010, 01:07:29 PM »
I was wondering if any one had seen any changes to the political career having to do with protests? I had a teen sim stumble across a political protest at city hall. She couldn't participate (I'm guessing because she was a teen).

I was actually going to go back and play a previous family that had a Sim in the poltical career to find out. However she was already at level 9 in the career so she may have been to high up to be affected by local politics.

Amy one else know about the new protests?

Protests have been around in the Game since it was released, I have never seen one in my own game as I don't go to City Hall much. But I don't think they happen very often.  ;)

They probably happen once a week or so.  I run into them fairly often.

Protests have happened since the base game. My Sim randomly stumbled into one, then later on as I decided to work on the photography challenges in Map View I noticed that it said there was a protest going on at City Hall - you know the tags that pop up when there are events on in town, such as the Grill-A-Thon and Ranked Chess Tournaments? The protest popped up as one of those. Got a lot of photos added to the collection that day.
Grr Argh!

My Sims with Lvl 10 writing skill, who got a opportunity of "Write your Life Story" in Political Career.
This should be a new genre of writing in Ambitions, I guess. ;)
However, I don't know whether other careers have this opportunity too.
Now I realize playing the Sims 3 on Mac is playing the game of installation and uninstallation...

Yeah, politicians can "write a political memoir".

This is not new to Ambitions.  It has been around since the base game.  Here is a link to all book types http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/skills/writing/book-type-list.php
