Mixing supernatural species

I'm not sure if this is even possible, as I don't have the expansion, but I was wondering if you could now finally mixup different supernatural sims together. Not only werewolves with zombies, elves and witches, but also with the previous supernatural beings like genies, mummies and invisible friends.

My understanding is that the children of two occult species will be one or the other, not a combination, regardless of which EP the occults in question came from.

That said, experimentation might prove interesting.

The SimGurus said every live chat and every other chance they got that if you mixed two species the children would only ever be one or the other not both.

How boring. :(
Wonder what's wrong with mixing up best of both worlds. Was one of the things I really liked to do in The Sims 2: Mixing all the special species into one Sims.
Ah well, most likely those species are indicated by a special hidden skill. And hidden skills can still be mixed by using the right mods.
If EA doesn't do it, some fan will.

So one can't bring a genie ghost back to be a genie zombie?

There are zombie hybrids for all of the life states. Anyone can be infected by the zombie exlir.
We are of peace, always but this is war.
We are of peace, always.
We'll help build a resistance. We have to fight.

When all you've ever loved has been stolen from you, sometimes all you have left is revenge.
For the truly wronged, satisfaction can be found in one of two places,  absolute forgiveness or mortal vindication. This is not a story about forgiveness. When deception cuts this deep, someone has to pay.

However, zombies are extremely limited and can't woohoo so really it depends on your playstyle whether you want one of them.

I saw in the Prima Guide (I know, not 100% reliable) that you can make a ghost in CAS and then have that ghost transform (using a spell, elixir, bite, etc) into a hybrid ghost/other. I know I'm going to be playing around with mating various combinations for the next few days...

Any occult can die therefor any occult can become a ghost whether intentionally or accidentally.   However, a vampire cannot also be a werewolf or a fairy or a witch or an IF or a genie.

Maybe EA will figure it out. I mean we did have ghost vampires. I'm not a very patient person but they say good things happen to those who wait.  ;)

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing Oberon and Titania Summerdream as zombie fairies, at least.

Really? Well, that would be something. At least you guys could mix up to three crossbreed species: zombies, fairies and ghosts.
I hope one of you can come up with a zompier as well though.

"zombie" is an overlay - any sim can be zombified. But zombies can't woohoo, so they can't breed while zombies.

I am not sure werewolves can breed with humans.  Well, not while in werewolf state.  I have a werewolf male and human female.  They woohooed all day long while he was werewolf.  Nothing.  Then the light bulb went off, and he changed back to human.  Chimes on the first try.  (I am serious about woohooing all day, they started when they woke up in the morning and kept trying until they were both about to starve around dinner time)

Was there a Try for Baby option while in werewolf form?
