I must say, I loved gardening before when it took for ever. Now I'm over the moon! (pun intended) Fairies and gardening are just great! Especially once you get king/queen of the fae LTR. You can basically spend all day blooming plants and harvesting. You can get to perfect quality so quickly, and this will be great for my nectar making undertaking. Also I'm putting together a perfect garden with all the new plants included. It's so easy to have everything ready to harvest on the first day. You can even start improving all the plants on community lots too, without having to change the lot to a home-lot! I can just see it now... the garden upgrade challenge!

I  love it. It gives such an opportunity for storytelling, and I love the Alchemy skill. I've only ever used witches and genies though, Maybe time to start playing with vamps and fairies

I'm playing a genie as the main character at the moment, but he gets the local fairies to do his gardening for him. He also likes making them fulfill their LTWs when he ensorcels them.

"So, Mr Goodfellow, you want to be Master of the Arts? It won't happen if you're too lazy to pick up a paintbrush." *waves hands*

Not just so he can free lots of his fellow genies by buying lamps with the happiness points - he likes to think of it as out-pranking them ;-)

Just installed the game over the weekend. I like the layout of Moonlight Falls; but, the bars are boring. Put a professional bar in all of them so the sims can drink something besides "quick drinks". I love the 5br modern mansion. Converted the garage into my witch's alchemy room. The fairy takes cre of the garden and the werewolf collects things she needs for her elixirs.

Edit: Forgot to mention how I love the conversion spell by the witch. She got a fishbowl with a death fish in it.

I was looking at some of the achievements that are new with Supernatural, and I saw this:

Quote
Swan Dive
As a non-Supernatural female, Make Out with your Vampire Partner, then break up and Make Out with your new Werewolf Partner, break up with them and marry a Vampire.

Am I the only one who laughed at that? Though, I think my favorite is:

Quote
My Precious!
Cut 20 stacks of gems with the Gem Cutter.

It's just so much of an homage that I have to grin and wish we could forge Rings of Power!
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

First reactions :

Just played a couple of hours last night. The world seems very empty with lots of empty lots that are labeled "community" parks and such with nothing on them. The central park seemed .. Lacking.. I usually replace with the central park from Sunset Valley, but this one is an odd size so I had to place the bigger park elsewhere.  I can see that I am going to have to go to the different areas and take lots I like to put in Moonlight falls. I am hoping for community made lots soon.

I'm thinking Agneza's hobbit house would be perfect for a faerie. Some of the community buildings are doubled.. I don't like that. One building for two things..

They spent a lot of time it seems on making the Supernaturals and not much time on the world.

Having said that, I did not get bored a single time. It was fun playing with my witch and faerie.  The witch seems to be gaining experience in Alchemy over fast.. In the two hours she is level 5 already.

I did uncheck Celebrity. I'm glad for that opportunity. I can uncheck them all if I want a world without supernaturals. Thanks also for that. It seems they were listening.

I like the world. I like what I have seen and done so far. It's only adding and I was so afraid it would just not fit but it does.  Once I get those empty community lots filled it will be perfect.  I give it 4 stars. One lacking for the Lack of time building a fuller world.

I agree, the world does seem very spare and empty. I am not impressed with the town itself at all. It's also very lazy terrain painting. Just mountains around the edges and flat plain in between. It seems thrown together.

I moved over to my game in Hidden Springs, which is one of my favorite terrain painted worlds, and started to add supernatural Sims to the town. So far I have two fairy sisters, Ariel and Ivy Willowwood, a witch, and a werewolf family of three. I haven't made any vampires or genies or ghosts yet.

I did have my first zombie attacks! It was not too bad. Just two zombies showed up and waved their arms in front of the house.

I had a burglar break into the werewolf house. My father Sim wolfed up and chased him off pronto. Very funny.

I am enjoying this EP more than I thought I would. I've added a vampire family, werewolf family, two fairy sisters, and a witch to my Hidden Springs legacy game. I have populations under tight control. I want to choose who turns supernatural, not the game. And I am SO happy to not have to see celebrity opps every 2 minutes.

Just now my legacy sim's little sister had a rocking birthday party and as soon as she aged up to young adult, her boyfriend turned into a zombie. He enjoyed the rest of the party, though. Very funny.

I just got it, and I have to say that it's been quite a blast. For the first time, I am not completely disappointed with the new facial hairs and I just love the Brooding trait since it fits the real me so much. Also, the darkwave music. I was rooting for metal, but darkwave is a nice addition, even though I'm not that big of a darkwaver. Other than that, I really like all the new items and the Alchemy skill.

Then again, I just got this, so I may or may not report in the near future.

I like that the gem cutting machine's notifications mention Moh's scale of hardness. Educational!

I'm also not at all bothered by the zombies. Of course, I read about the saving glitch early enough, so they haven't come in plague proportions.

I've avoided that fate as well, I will continually pause and unpause my game for hours on end (Doing other things) just to avoid saving and quitting on a full moon.

I noticed pregnant Townies today. I'm on my third generation in Hidden Springs and this is the first time I've seen a Townie who was pregnant. I do not have any mods at all installed or custom content.

Maybe they tweaked story progression a bit?
